    On 12/17/222, the Lobo Roofing company visited my home due to moisture getting into our attic. The owner assured us that he found a leak on our roof that was causing the moisture. His team removed old existing flashing and shingles surrounding the perimeter of our chimney and replaced it with new shingles and flashing and sealed it with an ice and water shield leak barrier. They also removed the old ridge vent and hip from the top of the ridge and reinstalled a 10 inch ridge vent and a 10 inch hip to show no exposed nails. **** charged us a total of $1595.00 for this work (after being late to our home by over 2.5 hours). A few weeks later, we saw that our attic was still leaking. We had the owner return to our home on 1/10. He was initially scheduled to come on 1/9, but canceled the day-of. The owner stated that his work was perfect and that our chimney cap was faulty and that was what was causing the leak.We then had a chimney professional come and replace our cap. The chimney professional looked inside of our chimney and did not find any signs of moisture.We called a different a contractor and this contractor found a soft spot about 1 foot away from the shingles that Lobo Roofing had just replaced. Additionally, there were exposed nails in the flashing without any rubber washers. The contractor stated that washers were necessary.We called the owner, asking him to return to our house to address the soft spot that he missed. The owner assured us that he would come back, free of charge, to fix this mistake. He told us that he would come on 1/27 to do the job. The morning of 1/27, the owner canceled and rescheduled us for 2/4. On 2/4, he never showed up and told us that he would come on 2/5 instead. On 2/5, he never arrived once again and did not return any of our calls.Our attic is now moldy and is still wet due to Lobo Roofing's mistakes, cancellations, and non-responsiveness. We need a full refund to hire someone else to fix this job.

    Hi, We Are Here To Help, So As You Stated, The Other Contractor That Came By Said That a New Leak Was Starting In A Different Spot From Where The Original leak Was Occuring. Wed Love To Help But As A Repair Issue The Issue Has Nothing To Do With Our Repair As The Roof Has Started In A Different Spot. So We Are Unfortunately Unable To Offer A Refund As In Our Scope Of Work And Invoice/Bid. We Did As Promised In Our Estimate Information. The Now New Occuring Leak Has Nothing To Do With The Repair That Was Performed. It Is A New Leak On A Different Spot Of The Roof. We Apologize For The Inconvenience. As Stated From The Start The Roof Is Poor Quality Installed. Thank you, Regards ***, Repair Specialist.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    You admitted to me on the phone that you may have missed a soft spot when you completed your initial work.  Again, this soft spot is only about 1 foot away from the affected area that you fixed.  In our original agreement, you promised to replace the affected shingles.  You missed a small spot and need to come back to fix this or refund us.

     

    It is also unacceptable to promise that you will come to our house to do this work, cancel on us 3 times, and then ultimately never show up or return our calls.  You have completely abandoned a job that you agree to do. 

     

    Please finish the job or refund us.

    Date of transaction 8/1/2022-8/5/2022 Money paid $9000.00 for deposit Contract for $26000.00 with remaining $18000.00 balance .Work provided Re-Roofing including plywood repairs & Rafter repairs & Dormer repairs .Dispute Subpar workmanship throughout entire project , not up to standards for rafters, cutting & nailing ,leaving areas of not weather tight conditions (daylight openings).Leaving damaged or rotting wood.Poor flat roof torch down install .Not trimming edges of plywood will affect gutter usage .Leaving unsupported plywood leaving soft spots under shingles .Not using appropriate materials- GAF Timberline tiger paw underlayment not doubled or half lapped per low pitch roofs.No work -stop agreement for extra work or money.Demanding More money at end of job with out invoices or agreement along process $30.340.00 owed??

    We Are Sorry for The Inconvenience, As the Picture Provided Does Not State Any "Rafter, Plywood" Work, As for Our Agreement and Written into Contract Statement, Any Unknow Repairs AKA Rafter Work, And Any Rotted Sheathing Will Be Charged Accordingly. We Did Our Part of Contract, If You Submit All Paperwork, You Will See Where It States Any Plywood Work Or Unknown repairs Will Be Extra Cost

    all the-rafter repair 

    garage roof poor rafter & roof over hangs gutter.

    As stated before 

    wheres the permits that were needed to do this work?

    show us the work change orders that your trying to charge extra  exuberant money for?

    whats with warranty card only stating 5 squares of steep roof?

    Gag timberline hdz needs tiger paw to be 1/2 lapped

    The Reason the Warranty Only Says, "5 Squares Steep Slope" Is Because Only 5 Square Off the Whole House Are Above A 5/12 Pitch or Greater, As Far as You Pressure Washing That Has Nothing to Do with Us or Our Work as You Are Shooting Water Under Roof, and You Had home with No Siding. If You Believe an Adjustment in Price Should Be Made to Clear This Up Message Us Directly. All Of the Information on Contract Was Done, everything else you state is All Now Extra Time And work we put into the home.
