Oh man where to start. My transmission went out in my **** GMC Yukon, I had it towed to Affordable Transmissions. Well I needed a new transmission. Anyway after weeks of them having my truck I come and pick it up and give them $2,200 of my hard earned money, drove off and within 6 hours my truck was broken down on the side of the freeway with a car full of kids and transmission fluid spraying everywhere. I called the mechanic since he gave me his personal number and he said that he ******** my truck back to the shop but it probably isn't his problem and will charge me for the tow and anything that needs to be fixed. Three more weeks of them having my truck I was going to be charged $250 for the tow (shouldn't be my responsibility) and for them to replace the transmission fluid and the clamps that blew off of my hoses. Go to pick up my truck and notice that my back window is different and when I went into *********** $1,100 radio was ripped out of the dash. The mechanic had the audacity to say my radio was like that when I had my truck towed in there. He told me the truth that someone had broken into my car and stole my radio. So why didn't he call me when that happened? Why did he lie about it in the first place? He continues to tell me that he is not responsible for anything that happens on his property even though I didn't sign anything that acknowledges that. I threatened to take him to small claims court, ended up not charging me for the extra work that was done (even though I shouldn't have been charged in the first place). Well now here I am with once again a car full of kids stuck on the side of the road with transmission fluid spraying everywhere, I was just told by them that he will not tow me back to the shop, he will not do anymore work for me, and I am not allowed back there, even though with the $2,200 I gave him included a one year warranty. So now I am out of $2,200, an $1,100 radio, and my transmission is still broken.
