      We have hired Opsahl Dawson (Formerly ******* *******) to file our taxes in previous years. In August of 2024 we received a notice regarding our 2022 taxes which were filed by ******* *******. The *** claimed we owed money for a real estate transaction and it appeared to be an error. I forwarded the *** notice to ***** Crew and he asked some questions and then stated in order to contact the *** he would need a signed Power of Attorney so we signed the form and returned to him.We are now blindly receiving bills in the amount of $540. I called the office and the Controller who was sympathetic at first and agreed that not being up front that there would be a cost seemed unprofessional. Not to mention we paid thousands for our taxes to be filed by a professional and we did so to ensure we would have peace of mind. This is a very poor way to do business and we were completely blindsided that paying thousands to have a professional handle something does not necessarily matter. The firm states they did not make a mistake, if there were additional charges for review we should have been given the costs and the option to handle on our own or proceed with their assistance. I have all the emails and correspondence proving we were never made aware of any fees for the company to look into the issue. We do not feel it is fair to pay the $540 invoice.
