Would give a zero star for bad experience. Took our car in May for a VVEL issue another shop had concerns of. Didn't wanna spend the money there, so took it here hoping it would be cheaper. Almost $7,000 later our car still and was filthy upon return, still won't run, had lack of communication and was lied to one too many times. Do not recommend to anyone. I know chop shops that hire Crack heads that do a way better job for like 2/3 of the price. Will be taking further actions, and requesting money back.

Subject:Gaynor's Automotive Address: ******************************************************************** They are the most dishonest and misleading auto repair shop I have encountered in my life. I would never again take anything to this place and I would discourage anyone from using them. My wife called them and asked for a quote for a front and rear brake job. They gave her with an estimate of $280 to $400 worst case to get us in. We dropped off the car and said they would give our car an inspection and send us a report with pictures on any problems found. They called us and told us the caliper on one side was bad, so it would be $700 to replace both front calipers when only one was sticking. I gave them the go ahead since they had the car torn apart and someone needed to replace the part. They called us the next day and told us the work was done. We went to pick it up and pay the bill. It was for $1088.43 and this was when they gave us included their standard everyday 10% discount. I paid the bill and drove home. When I got home, I looked at the bill and discovered that they did not do the rear brakes. It was only an inspection, not the brake job requested. So we were shorted on drum replacement. After we went back to complain about the incomplete job and it's cost. After our complaint, they finally sent us their inspection report they promised to send before starting work. So I obtained several more quotes for the job requested (front and rear brake job) some were lower, some were higher, but remember that these quotes were for the complete job, not half a job. The store manager said he would forward all the information to ******** main office for review and that ******** main office manager would call me within 1 week. Almost 3 months later and still no word from them. So all around it was a communication breakdown and we feel fleeced..I am disgusted they would use deceptive business practices and take advantage of anyone like this. ************

I'm giving one star for deception.I brought my vehicle in for a power steering pump, and had them do a general inspection. They recommended a lot of expensive repairs, so I elected to have the vehicle inspected at another shop, one who I know and trust, for a second opinion. The shop rcmd'd replacing front struts, and rack and pinion assembly citing excessive bounce, and a severe leak of power steering fluid.Upon the 2nd inspection, the mechanic discovered the struts and rack and pinion weren't damaged or in need of repairs. Two very costly repairs that if I hadn't gone with my instincts would have cost upwards of 2 thousand dollars. On top of this, they charge diagnostics fees for practically every service, even when I told them my power steering pump is making the very obvious sound of being dry due to a leak somewhere.I'm very hesitant to believe those services would have even been performed. As a business owner myself, I strongly advise against this style of estimating as they lost out on any bit of revenue due to loading up the parts ****** hoping I'd bite.I'm sure they do good work, but this experience truly rubbed me the wrong way and I will not be returning to have the rest of my fleet vehicles serviced here, Woodland Automotive will be my servicer from thus forward.Thank you.*************************** LLC.
