    I contracted Coast to Coast Auto Transport to ship my car from **************** to *******. At pick up in Washington, the car was in perfect mechanical condition with all parts intact. When it arrived at delivery in ******* the side mirror was missing, the radiator pressure relief tube was in the passenger's footwell and there were four parallel scratches in the paint on the top of the car. The driver, by his own admission said that he'd driven under trees with the car on top and the mirror was someplace else but he would go and find it which he did several hours later. It was knocked off the car. I put the car in the garage and later discovered that the radiator had been punctured from behind. I notified Coast to Coast Transport and they at first denied any wrong doing, but then said that the driver admitted to driving under trees and gave me the website of their insurance company to contact. The car is not drivable and been at a classic auto repair shop having been towed there. It is presently waiting for parts. I've attempted contact with Coast to Coast's insurance company as well as Coast To Coast and have heard nothing from either. Now I'm not sure if they have insurance or if they're still in business. If you have a car to transport use someone else. Coast to Coast is more expensive than the others and apparently contracts out to incompetent carriers.
