**** Davis was contacted by my insurance company to complete work on my house after the dishwasher had flooded the kitchen and the living room. The flooring had already been removed. Their job was to replace it and do some additional work where painting and walls needed repairs. Initially, I was told they couldn't start because they could not agree on costs with the insurance company. then, the insurance company informed me that **** Davis had been paid. My contact at **** Davis said they had not received money for moving items out of the house, so I waited longer. Then, I was told they had the money and I needed to select floor, which I did immediately. They told me that work would start in a couple of weeks, but they never started. I asked what was going on, and they insisted that I should receive payment from the insurance company so that I could pay them. That made no sense. They had already been paid directly by the insurance company, **** Davis previously had told me via text that they had been paid. My insurance company had also confirmed this. Now, they suddenly didn't have the money? I argued that it didn't make sense for my insurance company to pay me when they were already working directly with **** Davis. I reminded them that they had already been paid by the insurance company. Minutes later, they said they couldn't start because a colleague had a death in the family. So, money wasn't the issue anymore. Now it was something else. Finally, they said that they had torn up the check from the insurance company. I finally cried Nothing but lies and excuses. I still have no floor.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the "A-to-Z" promise with taking care of a burst pipe in our home. They did reach out to us within 24 hours of first contact, but inspection was delayed, followed by an unorganized and delayed demolition process, following by water mitigation (which was actually punctual but incomplete), which was then followed by still not being assigned a project manager and false promises (1-2 weeks) of reconstruction now stated to be 2-3 months. I know it's been a busy time given the recent storm but this is strictly unprofessional and unorganized for being a franchise company. If we had known it would take this long to "get our house back to the way it was in no time," I would have looked elsewhere for water mitigation and restoration services. I advise you NOT to use their services; they are disorganized with no set plans for proper follow up. We ended up calling the plumber and sprinkler services ourselves and had all those services performed separately (again, not an A to Z company), even if they subcontract those services themselves. Either way, it's been a NIGHTMARE and we are still looking to have our house put together after the demo/water mitigation process. We were eventually contacted by the managers and directors of the company. They apologized for the half job done. We had another company come in and tell us that **** Davis didnt even perform the industry standard of water mitigation and that there was visible mold underneath the carpet that was effected by the leak. I could tell someone how disturbing that feels but they wouldnt understand it unless they were deep into believing a company would be there for them just to find out that they didnt even do a half-decent job. Nevertheless, we will not be using your company again and we will deter anyone else even considering using the company. We will probably be 1-2 months without our home and now have to start back at square one because the job was barely touched.

Terrible communication, and I have been repeatedly lied to about timelines for having a team sent out for basic water mitigation services. I spoke with a project manager the night of my burst pipe, and was told that we could arrange a demolition team to remove the wet carpet and drywall in six or seven days. When I was finally assigned a project manager, he said that we would have a team out "in the coming week" - which would have been **** days after the burst. It was at this point, and with this understanding, that I was asked to sign a contract for their mitigation services. Now he is telling me that the earliest date is ****************************************************************** before. The worst thing is that he told me he would schedule me on the evening after the site visit, but it turns out that he did not even try to schedule for another four days, no reason given. He now tells me that dealing with mold is likely. Further, I offered the remove the carpet myself a week ago and he convinced me to wait and have his people do it. I understand that they are busy right now, but I feel that they have been completely dishonest, and had they been honest about timelines upfront then I surely would not have used their company. I intend to pursue a formal complaint with the Washington ********** of *******************
