    On December 1, 2023, I received a phone call at 2:08pm from someone stating they were from RTS Financial Group LLC; asking if I wanted to satisfy an invoice. Since I did not receive any prior communication from RTS Financial Group LLC before the phone call, I could not confirm what RTS Financial Group LLC were referring to (FDCPA violation). Literally a few minutes later at 2:12pm, I receive an email from RTS Financial Group LLC. The email contained an unsigned invoice document with my personal information on it, an amount due and big, demanding, red font reading, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE WITH PAYMENT IN FULL TO AVOID NEGATIVE CREDIT REPORTING AGAINST YOU. No validation of information sent for the alleged debt; just a negative credit reporting threat. All FDCPA violations. In addition, I did not give RTS Financial Group LLC permission to my personal information or to contact me. More violations. In fact, I immediately sent a cease and desist notice via email to RTS Financial Group LLC.

    ***************** was contacted RTS Financial Group on behalf of the creditor ***** Carpet Company.

    All phone calls are recorded & monitored for quality assurance, and we ensure all FDCPA regulations are followed.

    After further review, all FDCPA regulations have been followed accordingly.

    ***************** was contacted 1 time by phone and once by email. 

    Our office has further received email communication citing the cease & desist.

    The creditor will be filing small claims against the defendant.

    RTS has and will not contact the defendant moving forward as the creditor is filing suit.

    ***************** will have her opportunity to defend a lawsuit in the court of law.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Although RTS Financial Group LLC has ceased communications, the following are facts regarding this complaint.

    Debt collectors must only report accurate information to a credit reporting agency. 
    RTS Financial Group LLC was verbally made aware (on their stated recorded line) there is a disagreement (inaccuracy) for the alleged debt.


    It is the responsibility of all collectors and creditors to furnish accurate and complete information.
    RTS Financial Group LLC knows/should know the document theyve received is false and inaccurate. 


    Debt collectors cannot threaten to take action that cannot legally be taken.
    RTS Financial Group LLC has threatened to report negative (inaccurate) information to my credit report


    A debt collector must only collect on a charge authorized by the original agreement. 
    RTS Financial Group LLC has attempted to collect on a charge not authorized by an original agreement.


    There is no original agreement. Therefore, no debt to collect.


    Debt collectors may be sued for violations. 
    RTS Financial Group LLC is a debt collector.
