This company reached out to us to advertise at a local establishment. We went through the process paid $795 for a full page ad. We were told we were live as of 5/14/2025. We came to the establishment to see our ad to be told by the owner there is no such thing. We got scammed out of our money. We want a full refund and want everyone to know to not do business with this company.Business Response

Hello,
This location is definitely one of our venues and we have a signed contract with them. We have responded to the customer in the email they sent us yesterday after hours this morning letting them know our typical process of reaching out to a venue if they are in breach of contract and then depending on what is going on we will follow the next steps of the process in these business situations.
We have not and would never scam anyone. There are a lot of moving parts of our business as it is across the country and we are in WA state as anyone can imagine.
We understand the customers frustrations however we are not a scam and we will have an update as soon as we have one from the venue.
If you have any other questions in the meantime, although please allow at least 24 hours to have a further update as we are waiting on a third party and only have so much we can do. However we would love to talk in person as well, please call our front office ************.

I am rejecting this response because: In order to make this better we want a full refund from this company not the establishment that this was "agreed" to be on. We spoke to the owner of the organization. This place does not have any screens to showcase businesses and she has never heard of this company. In the response to our email they stated the establishment is responsible for our refund NO they are not. We did business with you and you breached your commitment to get us displayed at location that does not have this feature. Give us our full money back and we will agree that this is resolved.

This is unacceptable and untrue. They purchased an ad at a location that the screens we have and are live. We did their artwork for them, completed it and got them live at the location they purchased. After talking to them from their words, they went to a different location because for some reason they thought that is what they purchased, which they didn't because we don't work with that location. I talked to the husband on the phone where he told me his wife was upset that he got scammed again, which I explained they didn't get scammed. I told him where his ad was up live at, the location, and we even updated their ad because he wanted to add a discount code, we did all of that and got his new ad live. He told me they were going to go into the location they purchased and check their ad out. Now we are getting this. They never called us or anything. What they are saying is false and not true and this needs to be taken down. I have talked to him on the phone and everything was perfectly fine so for them to get on our public page and write this especially without trying to resolve anything, which we don't have much to resolve because we didn't do anything and have done everything they purchased. This company said they would provide a TV and graphics for our restaurant in return for the ability to sell advertising. They did not provide acceptable graphics (looked like ai generated) and did not install the TV. I told them very clearly this was a breach of whatever contract we had, and I did not want their services. Several months later they are calling me demanding I need to reimburse them for damages. The owner got very emotional and started making personally vindictive comments such as Its no wonder your business is failing and People like you dont deserve to have a business We feel like we are being shaken down for money when something was presented to us as a free service.Business Response

11 months ago I paid $330 to this company for artwork that has never been completed. I have requested a refund no less than 15 times over the past six months. If I even get a response its always we are looking into it. They have acknowledged my payment and that the art was never completed, months ago. Yet still have not refunded my money. We are being continually harassed by LinkIt media in the form of cold calls and spam emails. We have expressed on numerous occasions to take us off their contact list. These calls/emails have occurred in December, 2023, February, April, June, July and August 2024.In February we told ****** from LinkIt Media via phone to stop contacting us. The calls and emails have continued and not stopped. In the emails LinkIt Media is not follow the 2003 Can-Spam Act requiring Opt-Out Links on all unsolicited emails.On August 14th, 2024 they called yet again. We again said to stop contacting us. We also asked for ******** (LinkIt Media owner) to reach out directly so we could again express our frustration of these repeated contacts. As of August 21st, 2024 she has not reached out. So we are left with no other options than the file a complaint here as well as filing one with the *** for the Can-Spam Act violation.We simply want to be left alone and not repeatedly contacted by a a business we have no interest in ever dealing with.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have asked several times to speak with ******** during these unsolicited phone call and emails. in February, 2024 when I was talking to ****** and said these calls/emails had to stop- *****************'d ******** on an email where ****** said I was threatening them by saying I would file an FTC/BBB complaint for their business practices. ******** never responded. In June, 2024 I again email ******** after a series of phone calls and never heard back. Then in August I spoke to someone who said he was the manager, I asked to speak to ******** and the person said she doesn't talk to people like me and hung up. Two days later I sent ******** an email and never heard back.Furthermore, it is required by law to have mechanisms in place to not contact people when they have asked not to be contacted. Claiming the employees merely use ****** and then make phone calls is both against the law and unethical. I, as the businesses owner who is essentially being harassed by LinkIt Media should not have to jump through more hoops, take up more of my time and try to get in touch with ******** to tell her she, and her company, is breaking the law.
Her solution for me to call and ask for her, is ludicrous and insulting. Opt-out of further contact, and honoring that opt out is literally the law. LinkIt Meda doesn't get to pick and choose what laws they file. Maybe I should resort to a harassment lawsuit to get my point across. At this point that may be on the table. I have logs and screenshots of every contact from Link It Media starting is November 2023.

I am rejecting this response because: at this point LinkIt Media is just flaunting breaking the law and not honoring a very simple request. The original complaint was filed on 8/22/24. ********, from Link It Media, responded to the complaint so that would make her very aware of the complaint and our business name. Then on 8/28/24 at 10:43 AM (see screenshot attached), there was a message on our answering machine at the business from ******** herself, not apologizing, not trying to make things right, but wanting to tell us about a wonderful marketing opportunity with the ****************** This is the same call that put us over the edge the last time and caused us to reach out to the BBB. Yet, it seems that ******** does not truly care at all that she is willfully violating the law, not honoring our wishes to be left alone. We don't know how to make it any more clear.Clearly nothing has worked to this point. We are now exploring other avenues to get a cease and desist, recover damages for harassment, and make sure the proper **************** (FTC) are aware of how Link It Media operates and how they don't care about Federal Laws. I'm sure there are penalties for that. Thankfully, we keep very good records here and I can provide receipts for all the phones calls and emails since we originally said not to contact us.

We have tried many times to send emails to this company. That cannot get our media right into the performance that we desire in the representation of our company. We have sent many emails. We gave our first deposit and we told them that we would approve the final payment when the media was ready to go on air. They took the liberty to take our payment 30 days later. Stating that we signed a contract to do with that and we did not sign anything to do with 30 days. We sign that the payment would be taken when we are satisfied and approved the drawings and everything associated with the media. As such, now, we would just like our money back. We were first contacted by Linkit Media via email on 9/14/2022. We signed a contract with Linkit media on 9/15/2022, under which they agreed to provide 2 TVs and advertising services for our local business who purchased ads to be featured on our TVs. Linkit sales rep informed me that they would track our social media and put updates about our business on the TVs for free as a courtesy for hosting the TVs for them to sell more ads. They gave us a tentative installation date of mid-November. They sent me graphics to approve, and multiple emails ensued, each ignoring my requests for changes. During this time we also dealt with multiple reps, as each of the previous ones left the company. Linkit contacted several area businesses using our business name to elicit advertising dollars, and only a few have ever been featured on our monitors. We have 2 separate bars which are seasonally open, and we requested 2 TVs in order to cover both rooms. Currently, one TV is only showing 4 ads and one is showing @ 10 ads. It is my understanding that more than 16 businesses (possibly more) have paid Linkit for services that have not been provided, and multiple businesses have contacted me early on because their ads were not being shown as promised. Linkit's owner, *************************, recently emailed me, claiming she has been trying to contact me. This is the first contact she has attempted since we sent this case to the ***** office on 4/5/23. This has been a miscommunication with **************** and we have tried to contact him as he isn't aware of the process with the sponsors as it is different than his. Per contract and discussion, we have delivered and have had both TV's installed. The sponsors are uploaded one by one as they approve their graphics and their time doesn't have to be consecutive so they can pause and stop it whenever they would like. We are actively working with each sponsor and any sponsor who has signed up has their own personal graphics team. If there is anyone who doesn't have their information from their art guidelines can send an email to ******************************* I am happy and ready to make sure everyone is taken care of and the good thing is no one's time starts until they are live on the screens, so no one has missed out and since everything is live, as soon as everyone approves their graphics we can get them up, although we have had some issues with **************** keeping the screens on, so if he would like to return my call we can get that addressed as well! Please see the attached documents showing the email correspondence between our company and Linkit media. This record does not include the multiple phone calls that were made to Linkit in an attempt to receive services that were promised. One such phone call was to the *********, ********** ***************** asking them to physically visit the business to verify that they existed and let them know we were going to pursue legal action if they did not fulfil their obligations. Immediately after the visit, we received a call from Linkit stating that they were setting up installation of our screens.
As of today, they still do not have all the advertisers listed on our monitors, and to the best of my knowledge are continuing to use our business name to scam others into advertisements that never receive air time.
