  I agree with your assessment that these people calling themselves the Cowlitz Law Group are scammers. I believe they believe they have found an automated way to legitimately steal from people. I found they are mining LegalMatch primarily to set up an expensive $285 "walk-away consultation" (also known as the run-around) with their illusion of caring expert representation. They seemed to be completely oblivious to messages and the only time they weren't was when I told them I intended to sue them for fraudulent business practices and would ask for punitive damages if they refused to refund my money. I got it back, except for about $40 or so they unbelievably claimed went to transaction fees. Maybe they can go out and see if they can buy a conscience with it. P.S. I see by their responses and questionable endorsements the *** continues to maintain and hide behind their illusions.

  In 2024, I hired Cowlitz Law Group for legal representation and was very disappointed with my experience. I believe I was overcharged, poorly represented, and not given realistic guidance about my case.The attorney who represented me in court did not advocate for me, in my opinion. After the unfavorable outcome, they told me they did not know what happened and that it was not something they had seen before. This left me feeling unprepared and misled. Additionally, during a conversation with the managing attorney, they made a comment that I found highly inappropriate given the circumstances. To the best of my recollection, they told me, You should be grateful you lost because now youre in a long-term relationship with the other party. Given the nature of my case, I felt this statement was dismissive and unprofessional.I ended up paying over $10,000 in attorney fees. After consulting with attorneys from other firms, I was informed that this amount was not consistent with what would typically be expected for the services I received. This added to my disappointment, as I do not believe the cost reflected the quality or level of representation provided.Additionally, according to publicly available records from the ******************************** (****), a managing attorney at this firm was suspended for six months in 2006 for violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct (RPC) 7.1 and 8.4(c), which pertain to misrepresentation and dishonesty. This information can be verified directly on the **** website.I am sharing my experience to help potential clients make an informed decision.   My experience with this law firm was fantastic. I had the good fortune of working with Mr. *** ******** and ******** ***** over the last year in a very tough custody dispute.They were both very professional and friendly, and it is very clear that they actually care about the cases that they work on. Thanks to their extraordinary efforts, I was able to resolve my case and secure a future that is best for my daughter. I would highly recommend them both to help navigate people through what is one of the most mentally and emotionally difficult processes of people's lives.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is not transparent or honest, started off with them on a parenting plan after they said an adoption was not possible because involuntarily terminating parental rights was impossible. Their website literally boasts services such as involuntarily terminating parental rights among a wide variety of other services. We met with ***** in ********* and wrongly assumed this was a local law firm. Went through tons of paralegals in different states, as well as got switched lawyers 3 times. Needless to say no one was ever on top of our case because I had to keep catching up on things I had already told previous paralegals and lawyers that didnt work there anymore. My last lawyer ********************* was very pleasant to deal with and I felt like her heart was in the right place. However where I finally lost all faith in Cowlitz was when my ex once being faced with a strict parenting plan and child support order after 7 years of being absent finally agreed to sight parental termination to allow us a step parent adoption. Cowlitz asked for a 6k trust for this process and said it could be more, that is after 12k spent already for just temp orders. I finally called around to other firms only to find out that all the lawyers that specialize in step parent adoptions charge flat fee of 2.2k-3k for this service and that it would of been possible to go involuntary termination in my specific case. Super bummed that at my last hearing to enter orders for the parenting plan while the adoption process starts I found out Cowlitz didnt even submit my dissolution of marriage from 7 years ago to the court so the commissioner was under the impression I was still married. So disappointed and dissatisfied from the website you would think Cowlitz was a 5 star law firm. Just a bunch of money hungry scam artists.

  Paid well over 10k for a restraining order and family court representative. Never met in person, constant huge bills, constant harassment from the finance department, constant typos and mistakes in my pleading and declarations. Put on the back burner the entire time. Was laughed at in court by the judge and the state due to TERRIBLE math given in court to set my child support. Constantly charged multiple times for every draft of their paperwork produced for my case. I hope anyone looking for a lawyer looks somewhere else.

  Hired them last summer(2023) and I still dont even have temp orders. They made mistakes that cost me thousands and refuse to rectify them. They give you the run around anytime you have an issue.

  These people act like they are Professionals but their actions dont live up to their words. The only thing professional is the front they put on are like professional con artist scammers. What they are best at is figuring out a system they can do the least amount of work. They are best at spending your money on fancy things like a website, range rovers, overpriced properties to waste your time and money. If you complain about their service they will be extremely rude, belittling, threaten, hang up the phone on your or drop you once they got your retainer etc. If you choice to move forward cause they already stole all your money and have nowhere else to go they start sending you huge bills for all this work they dont do. Why cause they are not even listen to anything you told them make up lies and turn in your info to the courts late so the judge doesnt have a clue that you are innocent and the ***** and Cowlitz will not care at all threatening you with about two dozen bills and once they completely bomb your case theyll then once again threaten you with more bills and do everything they can to ruin your life by stealing all your money and claiming they are so smart and its all your fault never ***** as he needs more money for grass or a driveway. Do yourself a favor and avoid these devils a witches at all cost. Go to the *** and Reports these cons..!

  So where do I start, At first I'm not gonna lie it was a bit rough between me and ***** , after me AND ***** had a few pep talks he not only won my case , but me and ***** have become more than just a client . I consider ***** and his whole law firm part of my family. Not only did they win my case but ***** AND his paralegals came through and left me speechless , not gonna lie I had tears of joy . As far as any bad reviews that might b on here is probably due too a lack of reason and or just straight respect . ***** and his team where not only professional but they where also humans who actually understood the meaning of family , so once again thank u ***** and the whole team , now BBQ is at my place guys thank u and my son thanks u as well ?
