  Revival came out to give me a bid on a new heat pump. The gentleman who came out acted like he didnt want to be giving quotes but would rather be repairing units. He briefly showed the quotes on his laptop and I asked him to email me the quotes. I never heard back from him. Someone from the office called a couple of weeks later and asked if I had made a decision. I explained to her that I didnt get a copy of the quote. She said she would let the gentleman know and that was the last I heard from them. I would never do business with a company that wont honor a simple request.

  We appreciate the feedback - and I'm sorry that you didn't get the outcome that you preferred.

  Looking back through your appointment our technician was out at your home walking through the potential project with you and building you 7 different estimates with a wide range of budgets, for an hour. I assure you he's quite experienced in both estimates and repairs, and loves to do both.

  Our pricing and the work that goes into it is proprietary, therefore we actually do not leave estimates behind with every homeowner that we visit for a number of reasons. We've had a number of instances of homeowners that choose to share those estimates with competitors, which can cause issues. If you were interested in moving forward with one of the estimates that you reviewed with the technician he would have been more than happy to schedule a revisit and walk through it with you to make sure you were comfortable with everything in it. We feel what we do is not an apples to apples approach with other HVAC contractors in the area and we therefore do not just send out those estimates for assumptions to be made or other contractors to try and copy our system designs, custom made for the comfort of your home. Typically when that happens they try and copy the system design, undercut the budget, and then provide a level of service/work/support that doesn't live up to product we've designed.

  We are additionally not obligated to leave you any of the custom design/estimate work that we've taken the time to create (during a free estimate) as it's something that we've built, and that you haven't paid for.

  Once again, I am truly sorry that you didn't experience an outcome you expected. But our expectation is that customers have been conditioned to think that's how it's done, but we hold ourselves to a higher standard and choose not to run around throwing generic estimates at people they ultimately won't be happy with.

  Very professional. They explained everything along the way. I felt I had an undersized HVAC system and probably a lot of air leakages. The test proved otherwise and the company didn't try to upsell me on anything or suggest unnecessary repairs or fixes. The end of the appointment was basically, "Everything looks good. A little air sealing can be done but I would wait until you replace your current system. When the time comes to replace it, we would love to give you a bid." No pressure or no scare tactics. I feel this is one of the rare companies you can trust. When the time comes to replace my system, I am definitely giving them a call.
