      Barrett Business Services, Inc. (BBSI) is human resources/payroll service company that was retained by ***************** **** (Alliant) in 2020 for said services in 2020. As such, BBSI is responsible for filing Alliants quarterly payroll tax forms with the ************************ (***). BBSI failed to timely file Alliants 2020 amended 941 tax returns for Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 with the *** which BBSI received from Alliant on 10/19/2022. 12/8/2022, BBSI email to **************, stated that Alliant's 2020 941 amended returns for Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 would be filed in 2023 Q1. In Emails dated 3/102023 to 3/30/2023, BBSI stated that Alliant's 2020 amended tax returns would be filed at the end of Q2 or early 2023 Q3. ** emails dated 4/13/2023 to 5/24/2023, BBSI stated that Alliant's 2020 amended tax returns would be filed at the end of Q2 or early 2023 Q3. As of July 19, 2023 (2023 Q3), BBSI has not filed Alliants 2020 amended 941 tax return with the *** and cannot provide a date at which time the 2020 returns will be filed with the ***. I would like BBSI to file Alliant's 2020 amended 941 (941X) tax returns for Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 with the *** expeditiously, within the next 7 business days.
