I have purchased ***** ******* G2 Violin Outfit from Kennedy Violins. The violin came with a Portland Elite Violin Case. The case that they sent me was defective. The side handle was making weird move/noise from the beginning, but not weird enough to know that it would later cause this damage to the case.I'm not an expert on violin cases, and this was my first ever violin that I purchased for my son, I thought it was just the way it was. Moreover, I trused Kennedy Violins because they sent me a proof of inspection, and everything, plus I trused that they would stand behind their quality.Recently, my son told me that the violin case handle broke. It turned out that one of the screws fell out. I asked him if anything happened to the violin case that day; if he dropped it, or if he hit something hard with it. His answer was no. Nothing happened at home, during transportation, not at school. I contacted Kennedy Violins immediately to see if they could help.Kennedy Violins told me to take a picture of the other s**** that stayed on. I removed the other s**** When the entire handle fell out, that's when I finally learned that one of the sides that sits on the case was crooked up.I'm not an expert in any case or whatsoever, I could tell that's the reason why it was making that weired move/noise whenever we moved the handle up and down onto the case. And I could also tell that that was why it rubbed the s**** off little by little and finally completely came off of the case ****** first Kennedy Violins were offering to send me the missing s**** Then, once I sent them the picture, they don't have the kind of s**** that I needed. Now they are offering me 20% discount on a new case, that is currently for sale for $195! I already paid you almost $600!Kennedy Violins, YOU sent me a DEFECTIVE case. That's why the s**** fell out! Do you get it?All you want to do is make more money off of me instead of standing behind your products? Shame on you!
