    Artemio and his crew just finished the interior of my new house in *********. This is the 4th house I've had them paint for me, the 3rd interior. I've had them paint the exterior of 2 different homes and will have them back again to paint the exterior of the new house when it's time to do it. I have happily recommended them to several of my friends and they've been delighted with the level of quality and service Artemio provides. I prefer deep colors with strong contrasts and white ceilings and trims. They have consistently done this with crisp clean lines and perfect details. In the new house, they had a lot of bad DIY to overcome, including repainting the kitchen cabinets. It looks spectacular. I trust Artemio and his crew to do the very best in any job they take on.

    Hired Artemio to prep, retexture, and paint living room, dining room, and kitchen ceiling and walls. Process and communication were frustrating and difficult. Artemio did not contain the dust from sanding and spraying despite my repeated requests to do so. I did laundry everyday and now have to send my area rugs out to be cleaned. The process and workmanship are completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Artemio assured me he could retexture the walls to where the repair work would not be visible. He over-promised and way under delivered. He warned me that he may not match the ceiling texture, but that he would get close. He was right about not matching the texture, but wrong about getting close. After apologizing for the poor workmanship, he came back to attempt to repair the job. Again, he did not do anything to contain the dust and worse, he was unable to repair his work or leave me with a professional paint job - something one should be able to expect for a $10,000+ fee. The paint job has different textures throughout and the touch-*** on the attempted fix are eye sores. I now have to hire a real professional painter to fix the mess he left me with. He insisted on payment despite the poor quality of work, and he wanted the check written to him personally, rather than his company. (Early in the process, when I told him I would mail a check from my bank, he wanted the check made out to his name and mailed to my address and he would pick it up. Very curious.) I requested a detailed invoice and said I would pay him for a portion of the work until I could get estimates to repair his work. He refused my request. We ultimately agreed to a discount, and I sent him on his way. Don't take my word for the workmanship. See the photos. Caveat emptor!

    I want to express my sincere regret that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. We always aim for transparency in our process, and I believe we communicated the steps involved in our work. I want to clarify a few points you mentioned in your review.
    Firstly, we take great care in creating barriers to protect areas not involved in the project. Preserving our customers' personal belongings, health, and living spaces is of utmost importance to us. I regret any inconvenience caused, and I wish we had been made aware of your dust concerns earlier in the process so we could have adjusted the protective barrier we laid out (as pictured below).
    Concerning the texture job, I acknowledge that discussions about the expected outcome may not have fully aligned with your personal preferences. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and I apologize if there was any misunderstanding in this regard when we first spoke about not being able to get an exact match on the old textured ceiling.
    We appreciate the opportunity you gave us to address and attempt to rectify the concerns with the texture job. We painted several areas of the home free of charge along with discounting the invoice $2,000 to make up for the dissatisfaction with the ceiling texture aspect of the job. Our intention is always to ensure our customers are satisfied with our work, and these efforts were made in that spirit.
    Regarding the issue of payment, our goal is to ensure a seamless and convenient process for our customers. If there was any miscommunication or discomfort caused, I apologize for any confusion.
    It's important to note that I take pride in my work and strive to provide exceptional service. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the extra work we performed without additional charges. However, I want to address the assertion about requesting a personal check made out to me. I assure you that such a practice goes against our company policies, and did not happen. Company funds are taken very seriously and we strive to maintain organized books and invoicing. I take the financial and legal security of my ****************** seriously, and we expect customer to do the same please.
    Lastly, we have documented the process with pictures illustrating the steps we took to contain paint dust. These images are available for your review below, showcasing our commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
    I genuinely wish for your concerns about the textured ceiling to be addressed satisfactorily, and I am open to any further discussion or clarification needed. I appreciate your feedback, and I remain committed to upholding highest standards that we have maintained over the past 15 years.
