July 25 2024 I arrived a few minutes late to a grooming appointment for my dog ****. ****, the groomer, had been lanning on getting ready to leave and was finishing up the pet before ****. I leave and receive the call that he was ready. I got home and checked him over and saw at first the poor grooming job. Then I noticed the nicks and abrasions bleeding. So I begin to call every number I have on file for the shop. No answer. I send an email. No response. I begin to look through the other reviews on Google and see that this is something that happens through out the years with this shop and no attempts to remedy. I want the groomer held accountable and the fees including tip returned to me.

I took both my dogs to Franko's Dog Grooming. One is male, one female. They charged me for services they did not provide and half-heartedly, partially did some. Franko's has you pay in full at drop-off, which saves time at pick-up but puts you in a bind if they don't deliver.

I was unable to reach them Wednesday. But connected Thursday and was told to bring the male back and they would "re-bathe" him.

He had not been bathed at all! Absolutely without question. My female dog, I'm just not sure because I keep my dogs clean, so, she may have just still been clean OR maybe they bathed her and not him. We'll presume she was.

Both dogs' nails were not trimmed, the bottoms of their feet were haphazardly clipped, their ears were not cleaned AT ALL.

My female dog came back with mats she didn't arrive with. In the two days between Tues and Thurs a huge "blister" by her ear formed from where something went awry during the Tuesday grooming. This will result in a trip to the vet which has $95 exam fee.

On Thursday I brought the dogs back to have the unbathed dog bathed. The owner, Rosie, agreed to "re-bathe" only one dog, clean both their ears, clip nails and clean up their pads. (It was clear that she knew the one hadn't been bathed to begin with. But I was willing to let it go if she made it right.) I thought we were on the right track.

They took the female back, held her there for about 15 mins while I waited. Instead of properly cleaning her ears, they squirted solution in one ear, didn't wipe it out and left it. They did not finish grooming her feet. At that point I gave up.

The male was left to be groomed. When I picked him up he was actually bathed, which reinforced that he hadn't been the first time.

In response to informing the owner of the unbathed dog, and the other concerns, the owner told me since I'm not satisfied, I should just find another groomer. I wholeheartedly agree.
