  We hired Pilot Plumbing (PP) to: 1) remove old tub/surround and demo old plumbing; 2) install new 3-piece tub/shower with new plumbing; and 3) repair surrounding sheetrock in a rental unit. They were in a hurry before end-of-year holidays, and got it done quickly. We were unable to supervise on site. It cost $7,000. Soon after, another contractor discovered dry rot in the flooring around the tub. The subfloor was crumbling underneath. We contacted **, stating they had a responsibility to alert us about the dry rot while the old tub was removed, because they would have seen the exposed subfloor. They denied noticing the dry rot. We requested PP uninstall the new tub so we could repair the dry rot, then re-install it. We accepted that additional work was not covered under warranty, and asked for an estimate. They promised a technician would call back with an estimate, but no one ever did. We followed up several times. In a final attempt to contact PP, they hung up on us. We continued working with the second contractor who had alerted us to the dry rot. When removing the tub, he observed these issues with PPs work: PP cracked the tub surround and tried to cover it up. The tub wasnt mortared in as required. The tub ****** had multiple cracks, due to poor installation, which worsened when removed, so the tub couldn't be reinstalled. The drain was loose, and the tub around it was cracked. The shower neck was loose, removable by hand. The caulking job was poorly done. The framing they installed around the tub was inadequate, with one loose 2x4 and another held into place with one s**** The plumbing was not attached to the framing. They left trash behind the tub. We had to purchase a new tub/surround and pay the second contractor to repair PPs shoddy installation, plumbing, caulking, framing, and drywall. We paid $3,000 to fix PPs mistakes and purchase a new tub. ** did poor quality work and never owned or fixed their mistakes - even when we offered to pay them.

  Without even removing my toilet my old one to see if they could unplug it. They said I needed a brand new toilet which was $967 and theyre justification was submitted to my homeowners insurance and they would not pay for it once they removed it I looked at it and Im sure that they couldve unplugged the old toilet, and reused it.
