On March 23, 2025 I contacted Bridge City Firm via their email ******************************************** and cancelled my services at that time On March 24, 2025 I was charged for a new month of services $199.00.I contact the company and ask for a refund. The manager called me back and apologized and eventually offered a refund. On April 24, 2025 I was charged again for another month of services. $199.00. I contacted the email account and said I'd dispute with the bank and **** (my debit card). I was called by '**** *****' and asked to reverse the dispute and I'd be refunded immediately upon providing written proof. On May 13, 2025 I received that proof and forwarded it via email to Bridge City Firm asking it be routed to **** *****. I have emailed and called and left messages several times since then (6/3/2025) and have heard nothing back. I have requested the disputes be reengaged with **** via my bank, and I have no intention of retracting them again.Initial Complaint

I am self employed and work from home. I was told that my website would be verified by ****** and would appear at the top of searches for health insurance. Bridge City Firm was never able to get my business verified with ******. After I uploaded 4 different videos to ****** and an entire month later, ****** told me that I needed permanent signage for my business in front of my home. I was also told that I would be able to list all my services, that wasn't true either. I was supposed to be verified by ****** in all states that I have a license, but ****** said that they would only verify my business within a 30 mile radius. Overall, I was misinformed! ****, with Bridge City Firm, was supposed to get me a refund. Then he offered me 1 month free! For what!?!?!? 5 months later, no updates and no refund!Initial Complaint

I was called by Bridge City Firm by a representative named Dallas. I am unsure how they originally got my number. After many calls (even when i asked for them to not to call me again) I agreed to speak with them June 20th 2024. On June 11th 2024 I was Contacted by a Bridge City Firm "Manager", I told him that he was early for our phone call and that I was supposed to speak with ****** as he was the one that I originally scheduled a "Presentation" with. The man assured me that they all work together and that he has been with Bridge City Firm for 8+ years. I continued the conversation with him although I told him my time was limited. The Manager asked me questions on how I currently do my business, he seemed like he knew what he was talking about when I shared I worked in ************************** He shared that Bridge City Firm is ****** Certified to make public listings for you and get you in the top three results when someone is looking for a service that you provide by a key word *************************** Agent, ******** Etc.)Things started becoming sketchy when he had me go to their website and look at their packages. He showed me the basic package which says includes a Marketing Dashboard, SEARCH ENGINE FRONT PAGE RANKING, KEYWORD SEARCH OPTIMIZATION, RELIABLE WEB HOSTING, CUSTOM VIDEO, DISTRIBUTION OF VIDEO, and IT CONCIERGE The total price for the product in the first month was set at $998. That includes a $599 start-up cost. I thought this was quite expensive even though the manager promised that I would receive business through the ****** listings so I was not going to do this service. When the Manager realized that I was not going to move forward with the Basic Package he started lowering the price and added LEAD GUARANTEE. He said I could have guaranteed leads and get out the door with a discounted rate of $698. I made the mistake of agreeing to that, He asked for my debit card info and then said that they would send me an email to access my accountInitial Complaint

Bridge City Firm is a company that promises online exposure and lead generation. This is factually untrue in my experience with them. After ample time to perform and with regular follow-up on results, or lack thereof, there promise continued leading me on. There was absolutely no accountability for time or verification of services promised. Finally, after more than ample time to show literally any result, I cancelled my account early December 2023. The agency continued to draft monthly payments for the following 5 months even with repeated communication during that time always with a promise that it would stop and monies would be refunded asap, as stated by them in writing. The last correspondence received from them was in May 2024 promising a refund asap from the ************* With repeated calls and emails since then with absolutely no response in any way. Despite their claims on their website, I would never recommend anyone doing business with them and I'd be happy to provide anyone a personal accounting of my experience as everything has been documented.Initial Complaint

On December 15 they called me up and told me that they would provide me so many leads that I would not be able to handle it. I said we better not make this go live until February when I'm not so busy so they took $399 from me that day stating that it was for February than the next month they took another 399 because I was enrolled in monthly billing that they told me they weren't going to do until after February I file a fraud claim with my credit card company. I easily got the 399 back for the unauthorized billing. However the 399 I was told I was paying for and I never received a single phone call. When I disputed this with the credit card company they sent back information stating that they provided the service that I requested which they did not provide a single phone call and they could not provide evidence from their tracking numbers that they ever did. They did however provide evidence to the credit card company that they essentially made a listing a ****** listing that I had when I worked for a previous company and made a bunch of links to it which I specifically told them I absolutely did not want to do I don't work for that company anymore so now I'm in the middle of fighting with these lovely folks.I want all of my money back. Got the 399 back easily for the fraud committed for billing my credit card without my authorization January 15th. I want the ************************************************************************************************** they were going to provide in the fact they screwed up the other listing I have by creating another listing in the same location not only did they not provide any leads but they jacked up the other one that I had that was working so I paid them to basically take something away from me this is not ethical business I want all my money back if I have to I will fly to Washington to *** you for $399 I'm one of those people.Initial Complaint

Company calls claiming to be part of ****** Quality Control, but if pushed, they admit that the are Bridge City, a ****** partner. They are a scam. They want me to pay them so that my (corporate) website is compliant to the American Disability Act ***** [for blind people]. They call my business at least twice each month, some times more often. They use spoofed phone numbers, the last time it was ************ and ************, I have asked them to NOT call ME or my business as I have looked them up on ****** and the BBB. They are a scam.Initial Complaint

They call with the gimmick of saying theyre from ****** quality control. They ask about who the business owner is if the information on the page is correct then tell you another rep is going to reach out to verify info. Ultimately it just turns into a sales call for bridge city firm to generate leads. It starts out by asking if your page is some acronym compliant and how theyll make my page compliant in some way. How theyre going to generate all of these leads which is cool but I had already asked them to stop calling. I received multiple calls in the last 2 weeks all ranging from different states and numbers. *** asked multiple times to stop calling me. Just today being December 7th, 2023, back to back calls to stop calling me. They just play stupid and keep going on with the script. I know I wont get any compensation for the deliberate harassment but take the hint. The company is poorly rated is all aspects it basically toes the line of being a scam. The fact that they have to use ****** as a means to even get their foot in the door with people is a problem.Initial Complaint

I have spent just under $1500 with them since the end of March. I was promised over 30 leads/month which was then downgraded to at least 5 leads/month after not delivering on them. I was repeatedly told to hang in there and that you were optimizing my search results. I was given two different people to personally oversee my account. All that happened was my ****** business listing was built and there was a short time that my business entered the top 5 search results before quickly falling away again.I offered to let the whole thing go if they would refund $1000 of what I had paid as I could tell they did do some meager amount of work.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I was told similar statements repeatedly while paying hundreds of dollars. The correct response at this point is not going to come from the IT department but from the accounting department as they process a refund for "guaranteed" services not rendered/honored and vastly overstating/overpromising their ability and results.
Sincerely,

Complaint: 20275893
I am rejecting this response because: *********** and its work have proven to be incompetent at best and deceptive at worst. I do not want to be associated with the company at any point now or in the future. My request for a $1000 refund out of the $1500 I have paid is more than fair after not delivering on any of the repeated promises. In a better world, I would hire a lawyer for no real reason other than to get your attention for the misleading and deceptive ways you interacted with me. Sadly, legal fees are not worth the cost of $1000. I am troubled that you are doing the same to others and yet my only recourse is to file this case with the BBB for you to do one honorable thing and refund 2/3rds of what I have paid as a sign that you can see your mistakes. You have been completely unwilling to even have a conversation about a refund. This sadly and yet confirmingly tells me all that I need to know about your company. I am completely disappointed and hope that a negative **** via the BBB will warn others to be wiser than I was.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because of the same reasons as last time. A fraudulent and dishonest company offering to work for you for free is foolishness. They owe at least a partial refund for failing to honor what they said they would do.

I am rejecting this response because it's the same response I have rejected twice already. My complaint will stand forever and always unless this business decides to do the right thing. This has been dragging on for months which shows the character of the company each week.
Sincerely,
