May 2023 entered business transaction for custom embroidery onto 14 shirts (7 sweatshirts and 7 t-shirts) I supplied. 64 shirts (worth $852.86) in trade for embroidery costs. Work would be completed in two weeks. Weeks passed without communication, contacting via text message it would take several messages with lengthy response time. With either another order had priority or other various delays, while doing my best to be patient and understanding. July 2023 l sent $280.00 check with letter explaining payment in an attempt to make my order a priority to get completed. Communication responses from this company almost nonexistent. During February and January I gave her deadlines, finally giving last deadline of February 25, 2025 with two options: 1 - to either complete my fourteen shirts with my designs or 2- return my shirts incomplete, refunding $280.00. She sent an e-mail on February 11, 2025 apologizing for delays from personal issues, offering to do the work after another order. I responded that my order needs to be a priority, no additional delays would be acceptable. February 25th I sent text message to *****. A short time later received phone call and text from unknown person who did not identify themselves as employee or otherwise, stating my shirts were at her home for pick up. Once contacting this person, ******* ******, I learned nothing was done with my shirts and no refund included. After several hours passed, series of texts with *******, ***** finally responded. I texted ***** she did not have my permission to share my information, responding that I am crazy and did not share my information. ***** said she does not owe a refund, but later said she would send a refund after returning in three weeks, once taxes are resolved. I have not received a refund, ***** will not respond to messages. In total, I lost $1132.86 in resources, paid another embroidery shop for the work Attitude Expressions was paid for. I will accept $280.00 refund to close this issue.

This Complaint is inaccurate ***** brought me  69 shirts and i was told they were all sizes, they were to be used or given away as she was giving them away. They were all smalls and in a discontinued color so i gave them to goodwill total value had I purchased them $231. She gave me old shirts to embroider with faulty files I tried to re digitize them but with old shirts this was presenting a problem. ***** then sent me a $280 check that said to expedite order. which got deposited as a tip with the daily deposits. This was not asked for or invoiced it just showed up. she also had said she was in no hurry for these shirts. so they were put aside to run paid orders.   Had we taken in this order with the amount of embroidery she wanted done there would have been digitizing fees of $300 and cost per shirt would have been $420 plus tax.  we also would have  told her the shirts needed to be new.

***** is rude and her continuous badgering  texts that said one thing then contradicted what was originally said  lead us to give her her shirts back and refuse service to her.

The shirts were dropped off at one of my former employees for her to pick up as I moved to *******. She now is continuing to obsessively text her about this issue.

when you send money to a company without an invoice and a text that says to expedite the order it is classified as a tip.

due to her continued abuse of us over these shirts..we kept the tip

I am rejecting this response because:

May 2023 communication was initiated, I had 64 new and un-laundered shirts were offered in trade on June 7, 2023 for Attitude Expresssions (***** ******) custom embroidery services, I paid $852.86 for those 64 shirts.  I supplied an additional 14 shirts (7 t-shirts and 7 sweatshirts) that were also new and un-laundered for custom embroidery services.  I would not offer or provide used shirts, anything other than brand new and un-laundered is gross.  This business had those 64 shirts for approximately two weeks to review if they were something they could use in their business.  64 in trade shirts ranged from small (two were small) to extra large.  When we met once again on June 23, 2023, she said she would be able to use all of them in her business, including a near future Poker Run order.  I asked her what she needed for money to complete my custom embroidery, she replied with these shirts that shirts for trade into embroidery as a wash, equal trade.  I asked repeatedly if she needed money above the value of the 64 shirts, and she said no money was needed.  I asked her how long the embroidery would take to be completed, she said it would be two weeks.

Those 64 shirts had value, as I paid $852.86 for them.  Whether they were not a discontinued color (they can still be bought currently) or all in one size (most of the shirts were medium and large), is besides the point, Attitude Expressions / ***** ****** had them for a little more than two weeks to review if they were acceptable and were useful for their business.  She said they all could be used within her business.  They were not shirts I was giving away, and if that were the case I would have donated them to Goodwill or similar myself.  That had value as new high-quality shirts, which were offered in-trade for services, services Attitude Expresssions had done for me previously.  Previous work was paid work.

On June 23, 2023 I provided my 14 shirts, designs on a flash drive (in the file extension she needed for her machine), and paper printed designs.  I asked if my 14 shirts were acceptable to work with, which she said yes as she could see they were new and not washed yet.  We discussed a couple of thread colors she did not have and would need to get.  These were not special thread, but standard thread already in use with her machine, just different colors.  I told her if there any issues please let me know and we will work through them.

Time passed, much more than two weeks, August 25, 2023, I messaged ***** ****** as there had been no communication from Attitude Expressions.  Each time I reached out to her, it took several messages from me for response.  I asked her repeatedly to keep me posted toward order progress, she did not communicate.  Since May 2023 there was no communication she initiated, no indication of problems with provided designs or my provided shirts.  July 2024, I provided $280.00 payment with enclosed explanation letter to hopefully move this order along, definitely not a tip, I do not provide tip or bonus for incomplete work.  She only problem (reason for order delay) she discussed was long order time with thread and repairs to her machines, and that was in my reply to once again requesting order status.

By the end of 2024 and into early 2025, I realized that there would have to be deadlines to either complete the work as Attitude Expressions had received $1132.86 in resources for or refund payment with returning my 14 shirts.  I sent certified letter on January 6, 2025 informing her of a 30-day deadline and my terms, either complete the services we agreed upon or return my shirts with $280.00 refund.  All communication with her was repeatedly stating these terms with deadline, February 11, 2025, and extended deadlines, February 25, 2025.  I responded to her messages that her handling of this business arrangement has not acceptable.  My messages repeatedly dealt with meeting agreed upon terms, and if they could not be met I need a refund on or before February 25, 2025.  If ***** ****** believes messages containing holding her accountable for agreed upon terms for services while taking product in-trade and accepting payment for services as rude, that is her interpretation.  I did my best to keep communication professional and on topic, but I am not happy with how I have been treated throughout this whole situation.

I believe at minimum, Attitude Expressions / ***** ****** owes me $280.00, which is what she told me and a business helper, ******* ******, she would send me a check for $280.00

    Sincerely,

    ***** **********
