I am filing this complaint regarding the actions of One Hope Tree Service & Construction LLC whose operations at ************************************** have caused significant disruption to my property and misuse of a shared easement. The issues began on January 13, 2025 when this company started initial work, and are still ongoing at the time of this complaint.1. Owner of mentioned company posted an advertisement on ******** inviting the public to remove firewood ("free firewood needs gone ASAP"), which has resulted in unregulated traffic on a private easement. Numerous vehicles have come to the property, leading to random arrivals, parking, and blocking of the shared easement road.2. Vehicles accessing the property constantly block the road, preventing safe ingress and egress. This creates not only an inconvenience but also potential safety hazards.3. Vehicles associated with the tree removal and firewood pickup have caused damage to the grassed area I maintain alongside the road easement. This damage includes deep tire marks and rutting. 4. Despite the clear impact of their actions on the shared easement, mentioned company has failed to coordinate or limit vehicle access, leading to ongoing disruption for easement users.5. I reached out to the owner via email and text to address these issues on January 15, 2025, included photographs of the damage and a request for a clear timeline for repairs. He initially responded, but failed to follow through and has been unresponsive since.6. In the past eight days, I have had to repeatedly step away from my work responsibilities to regulate traffic caused by vehicles associated with the tree company and those coming to pick up firewood. Resolution Requested: 1. Cease misuse of the shared easement.2. Stop allowing unregulated public access to the property.3. Repair or compensate for the damages caused to the easement and adjacent grassed area.Business Response

We already discussed a good time to fix the lawn. This would be in the spring because it's wet and muddy now, but we can come in the spring when the weather is good.

I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for providing an update on One Hope Tree Service & Construction LLCs response to my complaint.
Unfortunately, the statement from the business is not accurate. At no point did the company communicate to me that repairs would be postponed until spring. Instead, on January 24, 2025, the owner personally told my husband that they would repair the damage as soon as they finished their project, which was expected to be completed within the following week.
The company completed their project on or around February 7, 2025. Since then:
1. No repairs have been made.
2. The company has not reached out to schedule a repair date.
3. The owner never previously mentioned waiting until spring until now, in response to the BBB.
4. Weather conditions are currently favorable, and there is no reason for further delay.
Had the business genuinely planned to delay repairs until spring, they should have clearly communicated this plan earlier instead of failing to follow through on their previous commitments.
At this point, I no longer feel confident waiting for their repairs and request monetary compensation instead, so that I can arrange for the damage to be fixed independently.
1. If they insist on performing the repairs themselves, I request a firm written agreement with a completion deadline of Wednesday, 03/05/2025. If the work is not completed by then, I will need to explore further options for resolving this matter.
2. Thank you for your assistance in addressing this issue.
Sincerely,

The third week of April is when we are hoping to start because it is still wet and rainy outside.

I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for relaying the businesss updated response.
Due to the condition left by One Hope Tree Service & Construction LLC including tire ruts, scattered hay, and trash left behind by the company or those they brought in we are currently unable to mow or maintain this portion of the property. This has made the situation not only unsightly but also more difficult to manage over time.
And, unfortunately, this is yet another delay. The company completed its project on or around February 7, 2025, and at that time the owner told my husband that repairs would be made once the project was finishednot in April.
Since then, the weather has been consistently mild in February there were only five rainy days and there have been numerous dry days suitable for lawn repair. The new claim that conditions are still too wet and rainy is simply not consistent with the actual weather, and no updates were provided until prompted by the BBB.
This issue has now remained unresolved for nearly two months, and I have made every effort to be patient and work with the business. At this point, I am no longer willing to wait until mid-April.
I am now requesting that One Hope Tree Service & Construction LLC compensate me directly for the cost of the lawn repairs, so I may hire a third party and resolve this matter. I believe this is fair and appropriate considering the extended delays, missed appointments, and lack of follow-through.
I have attached a professional estimate from a licensed landscaping company for the cost of restoring the damaged lawn. This document supports my request for financial compensation so I may proceed with repairs independently.
Thank you for your continued assistance.
Sincerely,

On April 14, 2025, the company came and completed repairs to one portion of the damaged lawn. I appreciate this step toward resolving the issue.
However, the second and larger section of the lawn remains unrepaired. Given the current warm and dry weather conditions, and the fact that we have already incurred delays, we have decided to postpone the remaining repair until rainfall returns. This decision is based solely on our desire to avoid the additional time and cost required to manually water the area using hoses, as we do not have a sprinkler system. This was one of the key reasons we initially asked for the repairs to be completed in March, when seasonal rainfall would have naturally supported the new grass.
We are still expecting the company to complete the remaining repair as soon as weather conditions are suitable, and we will keep the BBB informed of any progress.
Thank you again for your continued assistance.

Thank you for your follow-up and for explaining the process.
At this time, I am still waiting to receive a specific date from the business for completion of the remaining lawn repair. I reached out to the owner on April 21st, requesting to move forward with the second part of the work, but I have not received a response yet.
Given this, I would be comfortable proceeding with the complaint status marked as Answered for now, with the understanding that it can be reopened if the business does not follow through.
I sincerely hope the business will complete the work soon, and Ill provide a final update once the remaining repair is completed.
Thank you again for your support and for keeping the file open for possible re-engagement if needed.

On 10.18.2023 One Tree Hope service came out to trim an Alder tree in the back of my property and to cut down a ****************** towards the Northwestern side of my property. This Northwestern side of my property has a sidewalk that follows on the side of it as this is connected to a small neighborhood. My roommate, and x-husband, was home at the time of the cutting, and was watchful of how they were doing there job. I was worried about falling limbs going into my other neighbors yards. He said that One Tree Hope service pulled a long truck up that side road between my house and the little cul-de-sac neighborhood and planted itself onto my yard and onto the sidewalk. Then they released some sort of weight that stabilized the truck so that they could lift a ladder into the air and hoist up the people cutting the trees. That weight that they put down left the sidewalk cracked, and I told Jevah the person who is the only one you can get a hold of at One Hope tree service that they had done that with their truck. ***** told me that because the temperature was so cold outside, that they could not fix the sidewalk until spring or summer of the next year, which would be now. I have been calling and leaving messages and even sent emails to Jevah and have called both numbers on the Invoice, and have had no response! I am truly upset with this company. First the give me a bid that tells me my ******* fur will be completely gone, ***** and all, with the Alder cut as well for the quoted price of $3800, then once the work was finished I was left with a ***** of the ******************. I had to call them back and ask what happened, ***** said that the ***** removal isn't included in the original cost. I told her, yes, you said everything would be gone. She told me no, that is not how it works in tree removal. I had them come back out and do a removal, and got charged another $380. I want my sidewalk fixed ASAP! Like they promised!Business Response
