1 starUnqualified skills, implicit price gouging. A water pipe burst on the end of January and their plumber also the manager ***** took on the task of repairing it. I was told on the phone that because the original cartridge size was rare and he had to order it online, I had to wait a week before it was repaired. Finally Charged me $797.93 and replaced on 1/24/2024. On 2/24/2024, tenant texted me and told me the same place, same cartridge burst again. This time it was another plumber ***. who took over the repair job. He told me that the one I replaced before was the wrong size, which caused the problem to reoccur. The previous plumber ***** failed to fix it, so he would not ask me for labor fees again, but I still had to pay about $370 for parts. He also said that if it happens again next time, the entire water pipe and faucet must be replaced. Since they didn't fix it the first time and it broke again less than a month later, I refused to pay them to replace the cartridge again and ended my plan to have them apply for a repair.I hired someone else to fix the pipes. The problem is very simple, it is that the original parts tripped when they were reinstalled after freezing. The replacement cartridge and complete faucet cost less than $80 at Homedepot. And during the final repair process, I didn't see any new cartridges that ***** claimed to have purchased for replacement. That's like I paid them almost $800 and didn't get any repairs or even the parts they claimed to replace. I went to their office location in *********** on the afternoon of 3/11/2024 to file a complaint. The manager in charge, *****, made an excuse and said that because I didnt bring the replacement parts to appeal, he couldnt refund me. And he prevaricated me and said he would call me later. I waited for two working days and over 48 hours without receiving any call and no explanation or apology from their company. I have reason to believe this repair was a complete fraud.Review fromMary M
