    We delt with J Stout 3 times. The first time they had our paperwork in the wrong box. The second time had top bid, computer says they are processing our paperwork on the second item I bided on and when we got the paperwork in my email I didn't win the bid. The third time called them up two weeks in advance to find out when I could take stuff to their auction. I was to go the auction yard in ******* and talk to ****** I spent 4.5 (each direction) hours to get there and $62.50 in fuel. When I get there, I was told they could not unload because there was nobody there that could run the forklift. You have 5 days to get you stuff out of there because a loading day after auction. Called the main office and was told there was a medical emergency. If I could give them a -50 I would unprofessional and unorganized. **** waste your time.

    Warning about doing business with J Stout Washougal branch. Won at auction bid on a Wednesday 6/26/2024 at 8:30am. Invoice received that same day at 3:28pm stating payment due by EOD the following Monday 7/1/2024 with pickup due within 2 days, 7/3/2024. However received another email at 3:29pm on Friday, 6/28/2024, stated payment was now due and pickup required by 7/2/2024. I also received an invoice on 6/25/2024 for an item I did not bid on. I had bid on items previously without any issues. Something changed however where emails and invoices are contradictory. Given the extremely short deadlines to pay and pickup, Id recommend looking elsewhere to do business unless you have plenty of time available. Rules change it appears on the fly so you risk getting hit with penalties because this place is an accounts receivable mess.
