1 starA team of 5 arrived to move my family from a 2100sqft house to another 2200sqft house 20mins away. Most of the rationale for the 1 star was for things we discovered after the movers had left but there were signs of trouble along the way.For several items they complained they couldn't navigate it down the stairs - however, these items were brought UP the stairs by another set of movers and I had done similar myself.While there didn't seem to be anyone being outright lazy, the team did move things much more slowly than the previous team of 3 did when we moved in.After the movers left, we noticed there were several DEEP scrapes in drywall on the sides of the stairs.Additionally, a less than year-old $400 patio umbrella was broken, no longer able to stand upright.The day having gone a lot longer than I think anyone expected, the movers left when the last items were brought in, leaving many things disassembled: none of the patio furniture was put together (hence, we didn't find out about broken patio umbrella) and our large garage gym was completely disassembled.I really have a hard time fathoming how they have a 4.33/5 rating and no BBB complains.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND going elsewhere as when I complained, I was only offered $100 to address damages -- clearly this is a company that does not stand by nor take pride in their work.Review fromChan F

1 starThis has been, without a doubt, the worst moving experience I've ever had. First, I was baffled to learn that the preparation for delivery didn't start until the date listed as "first date available" on my form. Why would you wait until then to even begin? Then, the lack of communication was staggering. I wasn't notified when my belongings started moving; I only found out because one of my AirTags was packed, allowing me to track it. I watched as it crossed state lines, still with no update or notification on the delivery status.Reaching out to my supposed point of contact was useless. She kept making excuses about "getting in touch with the ground team." Initially, she promised an update by the end of the day. When that didn't happen, I called again the next day, especially since my AirTag showed my stuff was just 20 minutes away. Her response? She wasnt "sure how close the team was." How can you not know that? Aren't there dispatchers, driver contact info, or satellite tracking on DOT trucks?After voicing my frustration via email, I finally received a vague delivery window. But even as the last day of that window approached, there was still no contact from the driver until I sent another email. The driver, when he finally got in touch, was clueless about the loading dock situation and didn't know a shuttle was neededsomething clearly noted on the pickup documents and supposedly being coordinated by my PoC earlier in the ******* top it all off, the "move team" that arrived was just an elderly couple who brought in all the boxes and put together my bed. They didnt unpack any boxes or take any away, leaving me to deal with the rest of the unpacking myselfsomething that was clearly listed as a bare minimum in the contract.This is now a breech of contract, the business dealings have been shotty and I want my money back or I will be pursuing legal action.Keep Moving Inc

When our team arrived at pickup, we noticed that the small items, such as those in drawers and cabinets, had not been packed, despite the initial booking of a self-pack service. To protect your belongings, we transitioned to a full-pack service. This included carefully packing all the small items from drawers, cabinets, and other storage areas into boxes, ensuring everything was secure and protected for the move.
Our delivery service includes unpacking larger items and assembling furniture. However, unpacking every small boxes and organizing smaller items like plates, forks, kitchenware, and other household goods into cabinets and drawers falls outside our standard moving service. This level of detail typically requires an additional service, often provided by a professional organizing company, and it can take several days to complete.
We also want to address your concern about the delivery team, particularly regarding the age of the crew members. We stand by our commitment to equal employment opportunities and believe that age should not be a barrier to providing excellent service, we regret that their efforts did not meet your satisfaction.. The team that delivered your belongings is experienced and dedicated, and we ensure that all our movers, regardless of age, are fully capable of handling their duties.
We strive to provide clear communication and quality service, and its disappointing to hear that we didnt meet your expectations. While your items were in transit, we provided updates as best as we could; however, the exact delivery date can sometimes be uncertain until closer to the time of arrival. We were not late with the delivery, and we're pleased to note that nothing arrived broken.
We regret the communication issues you encountered during the transit of your belongings. As a small family-owned moving company, we work hard to keep our clients informed, and we are reviewing this internally to understand what went wrong and how we can improve our procedures.
We appreciate your feedback and would like to work together on a resolution. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to improve.

Our lucky movers were ****** and Irvint! They really "kept moving" without break time, making our move less stressful and joyful despite the moving elevator we reserved for them breaking down before their arrival. 1 starMy items were picked up on August 2nd. After the truck was loaded I was asked when would be the earliest date I could "receive the items" I said August 8th since I would be driving down to *****. I was under the impression this was a date for their records since they boast on their paperwork that they "won't drop off items until you're ready". Turns out it's actually the date they "ship out" the items.After being in ***** (my destination) for nearly a week (August 14th/15th) and hearing nothing, I called. Multiple times. And I received nothing but the runaround and platitudes.I was never called back. (To be fair, this was before I knew that my items weren't going to be shipped until the 8th, so I was still under the impression that having my items for nearly 2 weeks was enough time to ship them and get to my destination)Finally, when I called on August 16th and demanded a date range at the very least. The woman on the phone, ********, was rude and patronizing. She told me "yes, it's normal for people to wait a month". If that sounds like bull to you, then we're in the same boat. That was also when I was told "there was a delay, and my items would be in transit this week" two weeks out from the day they picked up my items. But let's forget that and go by their bull policy, it took A WEEK to ship out my items. Again, I was the one who called, something tells me they would have never said anything.When my family and friends called to check in on me, I felt like an idiot every time I had to tell them over and over again:"No, I don't have my things.""No, I haven't heard from them.""No, I don't know when they're coming.""No, I don't know where the truck is.""No, I don't actually have proof that they shipped my stuff."Called again on August 28th and was told I would have an update tomorrow (the 29th).I spent $5,000 to go without my things for a month. I would have been better off leaving everything behind and buying new things.Keep Moving Inc
