05-02-24 to 11-17-24 paid $16,644.92. Took the company 6 1/2 months to repair water damage to my kitchen. From May through November the company did little work to the kitchen, Work was very slow and what was done was done incorrectly, The cabinets were painted wrong causing the contractor resand and repaint causing much needed extra time to complete the job. In the process the sink was broken as well as the island. They replaced the island with one half the size and he next day the side moulding came off which I repaired myself. I also stained the boards that they made to fill in he gaps they made in he flooring. Looks terribly unprofessional. They also installed the garage disposal on the wrong side, forgot to put the dishwasher hose with the faucet, put in a cheap plastic sink and cheap faucet. Not at all the quality I had before. They dropped the oven door and had to order a new one, used the old cabinets when insurance paid for new ones, lost one of he cabinet doors, painting cloths were not set down when painting he doors causing paint everywhere in the garage that I am cleaning up myself. sanding was done in he garage as well and they did not bother to cover the dishes, pots and pans, clothes, silverware and food that was in the garage. I had to hand wash everything in the bathtub because I had no water in the kitchen. I had to toss all the food items because of the sanding all over the food. They dropped my grill and caused my microwave to not work. I purchased a new grill and microwave but have yet to be reimbused. They left with painting areas unfinised that I need to paint myself. One of the cabinets they installed has 2 ***** holes on he side they did nothing to fix it, This is the slowest, most unprofessional, and very unexperienced people I have ever dealt with. I ended up completing the work myself. I have no experience doing anything but feel confident that I can do a better job than they did. I paid them $16,664 to degrade

We "did little work" because we were busy ordering materials that **** picked out, then having to return them and get something different because she changed her mind. She constantly blamed her autistic daughter for needing the switching, first she needed things one way, then when we installed it, she would say her daughter actually wanted a different kind or installed a different way. Materials returning and lead times on new ones did eat up a lot of time, yes. The island **** received was one SHE PICKED OUT. as well and the sink and faucet, both were her choice. Everything we installed was done as much to her specifications and requirements as possible with the available materials on the market. We painted her cabinets FOR FREE. Because we felt bad that her insurance would not pay for new upper cabinets to match the new lower ones. She is saying we did things like dropping her grill and making her microwave stop working. This is a serious untruth, I have emails proving this, since she had asked me about these items right at the beginning, saying the previous workers had done this. And I helped her get new ones. Very confused why she is now blaming us for the damage, and leaving out the part that we helped her get brand new stuff. Please see the attached pictures so you can see what the finished kitchen looks like. Im not sure what she means by finished the work herself, because I assure you, we did drywall, painting, insulation, flooring, trimwork, installed cabinets, island, new countertops, painted the cabinets free of charge out of the kindness of our hearts, installed the new sink and faucet she picked out, swapped the faucet out for another one she requested. She seemed so nice at first, this outrage is kind of concerning, and the problems all seemed centered around her daughter. I am concerned she may need help with her daughter that she is not receiving, and its affecting the rest of her life.
