    Mendez movers was hired to move our home and contracted for 4 movers and two trucks. They showed up with three guys. Spent all day and then tried to pressure me into paying the full amount for an incomplete move. I demanded they finish the move the next day and they did but then charged me hundreds of dollars extra. They damaged multiple items and stole all our medications including narcotics. Before I knew about the theft I asked for $600 compensation. Have not heard from them since. I may be filing a police report on the theft.

    Mendez Movers is deeply sorry for all inconvenience or misunderstandings. ***** was scheduled for four movers and two trucks, but was only billed for three movers and two trucks. Our operational manager ***** personally went to ****** home to explain why the fourth mover was not there and he was very aware that he was not going to be charged for the fourth man. Paperwork that was completed and signed by ***** states all charges. We even went back an additional day to complete the move to his satisfaction because he was withholding payment. Our claim process takes 2 to 3 months to complete, which was expressed. We have reached out multiple times via email asking how he would like to resolve his claims with the furniture damages/lost box but still no response. We were not aware of this alleged theft until after this complaint was filed. Law-enforcement has not contacted us but we will cooperate and give them any information they may need. The box was not packed by us also in the paperwork that was signed by *****, It states that any personal items or keepsakes, or anything that is important to the customer should be packed and carried by the customer. Also, at the end of the move each day paperwork was signed, confirming that the truck was empty and that he viewed the truck before us leaving. We are more than willing to resolve all damaged and or lost items.
