I was sold a house I didnt sign a contract for. I recently bought a home in ***************** and went through re/max ***** ****** branch in ******. I picked a home out on Zillow signed a contract on what I thought was that home but during the building process noticed that I wasnt getting the exact home I thought I was. I contacted the realtor **** with re/max she then stated that they were not building that exact home but I was never informed about any of this. I contacted two very reputable contractors who explained to me that the missing ***** on the front of my house was worth $15k. Im not sure how anyone can hold a customer to a contract on a home that wasnt built!? I asked to back out at that point and was then told I would loose the $2500 ******* money if I did. The information about not getting the exact house I looked at on the Zillow ad should have been disclosed before signing any contract. I feel like this was entrapment and very unprofessional, Its stealing as far as I am concerned. I do not see how anyone can put a price tag on a home without knowing exactly what the exterior looks like, this was a very very bad business decision and **** the remax agent was playing with money that was not hers! I am very disappointed, frustrated and just plain amazed by the lack of care for the customer just sale sale sale! I know if I was dishonest at my job I wouldnt have one. I will not ever recommend re/max to anybody and will explain why.
