    I ordered a wheel and tire package from TrailBuilt Offroad. There was problems with the balancing beads installed in the tires. TrailBuilt told me to go to a local tire shop and have the beads removed. The professional tire shop determined they could not balance 2 out of the 5 tires because the tires are out of round. These new tires were defective on arrival. A warranty claim was filed with Kenda Tires USA through TrailBuilt according to the warranty claim process. After a long delay, TrailBuilt is now requiring a $765 deposit before they send 2 replacement tires. TrailBuilt says that the deposit may not be refunded and this would be decided by Kenda Tires USA. There is no mention of a deposit requirement for warranty claims to be honored in TrailBuilt's or Kenda Tires USA's warranty disclosures. This is unacceptable and possibly illegal. I made a mistake purchasing a wheel and tire package from TrailBuilt. I would recommend you buy your wheels and tires locally. Also beware, some of the online tire websites are the same company doing business under different website names. Most online information and reviews about TrailBuilt are positive. However, my experience is negative. If you decide to do business with TrailBuilt, it could happen to you. Stay away from TrailBuilt.
