    Quoted $250k for a new construction bid and will end up over $325k. Has done very shoddy work.

    Regretfully, I can not respond to this in its entirety at this time as the build is not complete.  However, with regard to the complaint of overages, to date, we have pulled six draws totaling $248,350.27 with a projected $13,500 remaining on the final draft.  We did have some overages and have been adjusting throughout to recoup as much as possible for the clients.  $12,731.63 of materials overages is attributed to client misinformation from the onset.  In addition, the original estimate provided was for all basic, box store, in stock items as this was an agreed upon partnership on a build to sell home.  The clients later decided they would be keeping the home for themselves, which then entailed multiple special order materials.  

    In regards to the complaint of "shoddy work" there is simply no validity in that.  We repeatedly advised the clients that we would be doing a final walk thru with them to address any concerns prior to giving the clients authorization to occupy.  The clients took it upon themselves to move in without authorization and without a certificate of occupancy, accepting the property "as is.".  Despite of this, we have continued to address their concerns and remedied them when  appropriate and obtained an after the fact Certificate of Occupancy on their behalf.  As stated initially, to address this complaint fully, I do need to wait until the final draft has been issued but at this time the clients complaint above has no merit.
