    I have contacted the owner, ****** on numerous occasions seeking resolution to an area of coating that is flaking off our garage floor. He sometimes responds that he will stop by but never shows up. First he was on vacation, then he told me they wouldn't do the warranty repair when there was snow. I have submitted photos to him of the problem area, and have been very patient waiting to get a response and repair date scheduled. I want our garage floor fixed, before the problem gets larger, which it has since he was first contacted. He has been aware of the problem for over a year, and just ignores my request for service.

    Black Diamond owner ****** showed up at our house the day the complaint was filed, then told me someone could come that day to fix it, but we were on our way out for the day for a prior committment. I offered to leave it open for them, but he said they would come the following week. I have not heard from him since, and he has not replied to any messages I sent requesting a date for repair.

    Black Diamond performed work on our garage floor almost two years ago totaling ***** dollars. My husband and I have reached out to ****** the owner several times regarding issues with the quality of the work holding up as guaranteed. He has agreed to come out and look at the floor on several occasions, most recently being this past Friday and did not show up. There was no communication to us and he has not been responding to any further communication. We would like the work that was done to be fixed the correct way or some of our money back since it is not holding up- peeling and chipping in multiple places and was guaranteed not to. Now, we will have ti pay someone else to come out and fix the work which will cost more than just product and service. The garage will need to be emptied out and a POD rented for our items while the work is performed.

    1. On August 24, 2021, the defendant provided a quote for garage cabinets and front porch sealing work for our house totaling of $5,800.00 (Attachment 1).2. On September 13, 2021,the plaintiff provided a check for 50% downpayment ($2,900.00) for the work quoted. The check (#****) was cashed by the defendant on September 21, 2021 (Attachment 2).3. The defendant performed the porch work on July 1, 2022 - almost 10 months after we paid the downpayment.4. Despite repeated requests for updates on the installation of the cabinet, the defendant has stated the cabinets have not been received.5. Given the length of time which has passed, the plaintiff has found alternatives for the garage storage. The defendant has been informed of the cancellation of the order.6. The plaintiff is requesting $1,900.00 plus associated expenses for the work the defendant has not completed. This is equal to the $2,900.00 downpayment less the $1,000.00 for the porch sealer work. (See Attachment 1 for detail)

    Thought the Covid 19 pandemic, our company was faced with several supply chain issues. After the company was found to not being able to fulfill our order, **** was issued a refund for the cabinet portion of down payment per his request.
