    We had a stay at the hotel 1/6/23-1/8/23 with our club volleyball team. This hotel is absolutely dirty and no one deserves to go through the hassle we have. My room at blood stains on the sheets, popcorn in the floor, mold in the bathroom, stains all on the curtains, and the list goes on. One of the families we stayed with actually came home with bug bites. I have attempted to contact the hotel multiple times and the continue to tell me they dont have enough information. It is super frustrating that we spent all this money for somewhere I didnt even feel comfortable having my family nor my team stay. All I had requested was one night refund back. As of now, I will never stay with a Wyndham again and will be look else where for our other tournaments.

    Hello,
     I am ************** the owner of the Baymont by Wyndham Appleton property. I apologize for the issues the guest noted. The guests concerns are legitimate, all the stains and shortcomings she describes were visible.    
     My desk attendant at the time of check out refunded the guest ***** towards her two-night stay. Since then, we have issued a full refund. Our policy up to this point has been to refund a guest if they have room concerns during the first day of their stay. From my understanding ****** did not bring any of these issues to our attention until checkout on the second day of her stay with us. We would have gladly had room service correct the issues in the room, moved her to another room or cancelled her reservation. I have since advised my desk staff to remind guests to bring unacceptable conditions to our attention immediately.
     Not that inexperience is an excuse, but we are new to the hospitality industry. We are working diligently to improve the quality of our guest experience. We bought the property with a lot of derelict maintenance issues. Since this complaint we have cleaned the grout in the shower, disposed of the sheet with the stain. We have been in the process to replace the window treatments; however,this is a process.  
    I understand your frustration with our hotel, we fell short. Wyndham however is a great organization Please consider giving this organization another stay.
