    We provided ************************* with $1350.00 payment in cash format; this was the cost for a 1-year membership to his gym/Jujitsu course for our son. We never received any contract, and we had to request a receipt. This receipt was in a text form sent to my husband. Roughly after one and half months, and multiple missed courses due to an injury that we determined later on would be long term and would cause for him to miss additional courses. On Aug 8th, I emailed ************************* advising of our decision to pull our son from the course and end our membership. Also requesting a pro-rated refund for the yearly membership, we had paid in full. We never heard back from him or anyone within the business. We were never advised of any no-refund policy in person, and the website provides no information or documentation of a no-refund policy. I have made multiple attempts to contact, by email as well as via phone and leaving messages. I have even stopped at the gym only to find that he was not there. During a prior text conversation on July 31, of when I messaged him advising of my son's injury. **** informed me that he was leaving for ************* for the week. After multiple attempts of contacting him, **** did message me back on Tuesday Aug 15th with the following "I'm just getting back into town. I will follow up with you in the morning." I never heard anything, and even sent him a message Wednesday Aug 16th "Hey ****, just checking in." Since then, I have continued to contact him leaving messages. All we are requesting is for is the refund on our membership to the course.
