    ********************* completed his work on our chimney on 10/13/2021. His invoice the work was $9,840. He was hired to build an outdoor chimney and masonry work.. The chimney was not built to ********* code, installed small flue liners that needed to be replaced with proper sized liners. He didnt install or follow proper Fluliner guidelines and CFM statutes.He constructed inner flu cavity extremely too small for mouth opening of fireplace, extreme amount of mortar and debris closing off air flow. I contacted a local chimney specialist and he inspected **************** work and said it was a non functioning chimney and out of ********* code. We had to hire him at a reconstruction cost of $6,467. I contacted ********************* regarding my complaint and requested to file a claim. His initial text message back to me was Ok Pat, unfortunately the business insurance only covers injuries on the job site etc. Ill review everything and get back with you. It sounds to me like Im going to have to pay for everything. Thanks, ****. After not hearing back from him I reached back out to him and he refused to work with me to resolve my complaint or pay for anything of the reconstruction.
