I took my Jeep Wrangler to Midas on Military in Green Bay, Wi on May 11, 2022 to have the brakes looked at, after they inspected my Jeep, it was determined that I needed 4 new brake pads, 4 new rotors, 2 calipers and a right front brake hose, for a total of roughly $1367, these repairs were made on May 11th. There were two lights on and sometimes a 3rd light that would flash on my dashboard, I brought the Jeep back on May 19th to have that looked at and repaired, it was determined that I needed a u joint and a sensor in the wheel hub that needed to be replaced. The brakes were also squealing and my front wheels had a lot of brake dust. They asked where the noise was coming from and I said the front. When I got the jeep back the next morning they said there was a metal piece missing from a back brake, it didnt make noise anymore. The next week it started making noise again but I didnt have a day off to bring it in until June 6th, they looked at it but said they couldnt find anything wrong and it was normal to have brake dust on new brakes, everyone I know said that was a lot of brake dust. I brought the Jeep to ****** Exhaust on June 22nd to have them look at it, they said Midas put cheap brake pads on and to bring it back to them to fix, I said I had brought it there on June 6th and they didnt do anything and had ****** Exhaust replace the front brake pads. The brakes have not squealed since, they also told me the front brake hose was put on backwards and they corrected it and bled the brakes for me. I called Midas on July 1st and talked to ****** the manager and explained that I would like to be reimbursed the $131.77 for going elsewhere to get new brakes, he told me he had to call the area manager. I didnt get a reply, I called again on July 8th and talked to ****** who said the area manager was at another location that was having problems, but either the area manager or ****** would call me back. Its August 3rd and I havent heard from anyone from Midas.

This complaint is in response to the Green Bay Midas, not our ******** location.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I spoke w ***** from the ******** store on Thursday (August 4th) she said the claim went there instead of green bay. I told her I clicked on the green bay location but when I was on the actual complaint it said ********. I told her briefly what was going on, she said she knew ****** and would reach out to him. I have heard nothing. I actually found the original receipt from when I got the brakes done and it was March 14th not May 11th
    Regards,
