    In May of 2022, Surface Creations installed quartz countertops in our kitchen. While the installation looked good at first, later it was evident a seam was done incorrectly, making the sides of it uneven. In March of 2023 we contacted them regarding this. At first it appeared they were truly interested in resolving the issue. In April, a team familiar with installations came to look at it and they said it was a failed seam. They said they would let Surface Creations know, however, nothing was heard from SC after that and so I emailed and called mid-May for a status update. Their response was that they were still working on an answer and theyd get back to me. After not hearing anything by mid-July, additional phone calls and emails were made to SC. They then scheduled a rep from the fabrication business to look at the seam. He confirmed this was not an issue with the countertop materials, that it was a failed seam, and that he also would talk to Creative Solutions know this. Not getting a response from SC by mid September, more phone calls and emails were made to them. The answer I received was that they hadnt had a chance to discuss this yet with the fabricator (this was roughly seven weeks after he was at the house). The person also mentioned they feel they're the ones stuck in the middle of this issue because they use subcontractors for the installs. As of late September, SC now says theyre unable to find a subcontractor willing to fix the seam. Based on SCs lack of communication during this issue and their unwillingness to stand behind their installations (regardless of who did it) I cannot recommend them.
