    I had a contract with **** waste with nonissues for several years. That company was acquired by *** recycling . I ordered sharps containers over the phone from *** representative ***** *******. I asked about shipping times . She advised they would be dropped off when their delivery person was passing through town. While dropping off the box of sharps, the driver also picked up a large near empty medical waste bag. It contained perhaps 10 used 4x4 gauzes and perhaps some very small paper wraps. They claimed it weighed 14 pounds. They billed 10$ for disposal plus $175 for pickup fee. I paid the amount on the invoice for the sharps boxes that I ordered, and tried to communicate that I had not requested a waste pickup and did not feel I should be billed for a near empty bag. I made Several attempts to reach ***** since August and further to explain that the pickup was not required. Very disorganized and slow response with several unanswered calls. Now almost two months later still requesting payment for unnecessary pick up. Original order of sharps boxes have been paid for. It would seem fraudulent to me to be demanding payment for something which was not ordered, or requested, or further even necessary.

    After reviewing this situation with our team-  we firmly stand behind our team and the driver who is clear that the pick up was asked for at the time of service. This is a driver who has been with the company for over ************************************************************************************************ that regard the service was rendered and the invoice is valid. 

    That being said we will be crediting her account in our system and she will receive a revised invoice effectively immediately showing a zero balance.  We will then also be removing her status as an active customer in our data base and wish her the best of luck with her future medical waste provider as we will no longer be interested in providing services to her clinic.
