Had an issue with one of my red dots and I sent it in for service. I was informed that my optic was beyond repair. They offered me a newer upgraded model free of charge. Upon finding out the new optic would not fit my optic plate they had one sent out to me. Fast and extremely friendly customer service.

It's pretty odd how good their customer service is. I wanted to see about replacing a mount that I LOST for an optic I purchased years ago and they said the replacement was covered under warranty and sent me a new one immediately. Also every time I've interacted with someone from Vortex they've been more than pleasant to be around. Not sure how they're hiring these people but I hope they keep doing it the way they've been doing it.

They sent me a bad scope, that would not hold elevation. They then made me go through the run around for three weeks making me buy different scope mounts. None of them were the problem, the scope was the problem. After getting fed up with the runaround, the scope is clearly bad, I told them I would return it for a refund. They then asked me why I bothered calling in for support and then hung up on me. Not great...

I called and spoke with ************ and apologized that we disappointed him. Our optics are covered under our VIP Warranty. He explained that he did return the scope for a refund. He also spoke with another manager on our team. We both shared that should he need support in the future, he can reach out to either of us, anytime, and we would follow up with the team.

Awesome company! Sent in 2 pairs of binoculars to be repaired, for free of course, got them back in a timely manner. If they didn't send back a brand new pair, they sure look like it, scratches and everything gone. The did forgot to send back the lense caps for one, so I emailed them, they responded in 35 minutes that new ones were on their way. They even threw in some other few goodies! Will never buy another pair of binoculars or scopes from any other company! A++++!

Purchased a Strike Eagle 1-8 FFP from optics planet. Mounted on a 6.8spc. I noticed right out the box the illumination was sporadic with red dots all over the lens, however that was only on highest 2 settings so I tried to ignore it. Took it to the range 3 times, failed to zero in the first, took it home tried to unscrew the elevation cap with was stuck and would not work to reset the zero function. Second range trip, id say a known sub moa gun was shooting about 6moa+ at 50yds with occasional flyers. Tried one last time at an indoor range at 36yd same results. I checked the mount, checked the bore (by a gun smith), tried various types of ammo (which is unnecessary as I have been shooting similar loads for the past 8 years) and finally had two other try it to rule out shooter error, one being a range officer. Upon contacting Vortex, I was immediately told to send it in for another, however, how can I trust something that came broken out of the box? So i asked for a refund which was granted. I wright a note explaining how I lost over $300 in ammo alone not including range fee's, gun smith fee's and ect. Because before sending it back I HAVE to make sure its the scope and not something else going on, (benefit of the doubt).I get a call one day, they sent me a check, and their solutions was to SELL me the same scope that cannot survive being transported in a shipping box for a discounted price as a solutions. I took it more as an insult than a solution. A company sends out faulty product, costing the consumer a financial burden/loss and the solutions is to SELL them something. Why not offer to replace it with a better model? Send a low cost gift such as a rangefinder or binos? Why not send the consumer you BURNED, by selling a defective scope, something that WORKED, that had a vortex logo on it to potentially regain the customer one day? Some sort proof you sell functioning optics. But no, they hide behind their replacement reputation and pass any loss to the consumer
