    I was sold a defective waterpipe on 4/3. I returned to the store the next day to return or exchange the product. I was refused a return or exchange even though the employee agreed that the product was defective.

    Thank you, *******; for clearly expressing our No Return Policy.There is no way to guarantee the product hadnt been used in its time outside of our store, especially when there was a whole day between. We have our No Return Policy posted very large at our register, as well as on your receipts.
    Because we were disheartened to hear of your poor experience,we kindly offered you 50% off any item in the store. Thats a very large discount that you took advantage of that day, 4/4/2023. You took our offer to rectify the situation, so we are settled.
    Your 50% discounted purchase also granted you a $20 off reward in your account with us! Just wanted to remind you that it will expire 60 days from that date, so we will see you before 6/3/2023 to redeem!

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    A no return policy does not obsolve your responsibility of the implied warranty that a product is fit for the purpose intented and conforms to an original buyer's expectations. I was sold a defective product, verified by the employee working, that was not fit for it's intended purpose. I made it very clear that I did not accept the 50% off as compensation or settlement for this defective product, but as a token of kindness, and that the dispute over the defective product would be settled separately.
