    Last January I hired him to clean out the attic which had been completely trashed by nesting raccoons and to seal up their access points. I ***** you it was a major job that he perhaps did not fully recognize when he came out to make a quote. I tried to impress upon him how much stuff was up there but he made the quote without going up there to fully appreciate the extent of the job. I liked the quote and engaged him and he was very reliable while doing the work that took a number of days. However, he asked to be paid when there was still some cleanup to be done and I obliged (the payment ended up being more than the quote due to the extent of the job).. He came out the next day to do some of the clean up (but left a lot to be done). He told me he would finish up later when it was warmer (some of it involved stuff thrown outside). He also guaranteed the ***** would not get up there for a year. He has never returned to clean up and had left a lawnmower (I assume junk) in my yard saying he needed to leave it to have room to haul the trash from the attic. It is still here. The ***** got back in the attic to raise another family and when they left (mid July) I called him to make good on his guarantee. He assured me he would but has made a litany of excuses after making numerous promises he would be out on a certain date. After two months of this I have come to the conclusion that he has no intent of following through. On top of this his latest excuse is that he has no vehicle and he facetiously asked if I wanted to get him a new one to finish the job when I told him I gave up on him. I have been extremely patient but even dummies have their limits and I have reached mine. Unfortunately this was done on a handshake basis so the only documentation I have is the cashed check which I don't want to share.
