I lived in **************************** for 12 years. I moved in Sept 2012. ***** Homes were the current owners at that time and started water bills, water that comes from a well. The water was off more than it was on and we were on boil orders it least every other week. Never once in that 12 years did I ever see anyone with a truck detailed with "ABT Water Management," in our park. What I did see was the ONE maintenance guy who worked for ***** Homes. ABT charged an ungodly amount of money for doing absolutely nothing other than sending a bill. In the last two years, some unknown entity bought the park, 2023/2024 and water meter was removed by an unknown subject but the bills kept coming. My question is this. What is a water company in Beloit Wisconsin, an hour and a half away from our homes, billing us for well water? On top of that, the water is deadly and can not be consumed by a human or an animal. Furthermore, I have not lived there since March of 2024 and have called several times to get the bill out of my name and can't get anyone on the phone at ABT Water Management??I believe them to be a fraudulent business and have been committing fraud ongoing. They need to be investigated and so do the new owners of the ** ****** ******* **** ** ** ******* *** Nobody living there know who they are.??

Thank you for reaching out to ABT through our Better Business Bureau page with your concerns. ABT is a private utility billing company, but we don't provide any services as relates to your water quality. Your community's owner is actually supplying the water to you through their private well and distribution system. It enters your home through an individual service line that contains a utility grade, radio read water meter. These meters are read everyday via a central receiver that sends the data to ABT's in-house server. We then use the readings to produce monthly bills for you. The fact that we're an hour and a half away from you has no bearing on our ability to tabulate usage, take payments and answer customer questions. As far as the amount you are charged, ABT's standard procedure is to mirror the rates the local utility would bill a stick built home with the same size meter in your area. The fact that your water comes from a well doesn't mean that there aren't costs for the owner to get it to your faucet. The well itself requires ongoing maintenance and repair as do the mains, lateral and risers that bring the water to each home. Regarding your account, I'm showing you were last billed for your April consumption which was due in late May. If this isn't correct, please reach out to the onsite manager and have them confirm your March move out date with us. Once she does that, we'd be happy to credit back whatever you were billed post move out. Have a good day.

Thank you for reaching out to ABT through our Better Business Bureau page with your concerns. ABT is a private billing company. Your local utility provides water to your community through a main meter that feeds it. This utility then bills the community owner for every residents total usage. Usually, ABT mirrors the rates set by this utility for stick built homes. We then charge based on usage using data from utility-grade water meters installed under each individual home. These meters transmit updates to our server every day. So each home pays the local rate (or, as is the case for your community at the owner's request, below the local rate) only for the water they use. This is the fairest utility billing method available and its the one we always recommend. So we're billing you for usage with the same quality water meter the local utility uses at or below the same rate said utility would bill you were you living in a stick built home.

I live in a mobile home park in Sheboygan Falls. It seems like everybody that lives out here has been getting estimated bills for years. There is a group of us that have had identical bills for the last 4 months. Anywhere from 1 to 4 people per household how can that be I don't use as much water as my neighbors with two boys. Every time we call ABT water they give us nothing but smoke. In our park manager does not really know what is going on. Do we need water meters if so are they working or should we call our Sheboygan Falls utilities and get them involved. This is just crazy

Thank you for reaching out to ABT through our Better Business Bureau page with your concerns. The water meter system at your community was installed just over 12 years ago. The batteries in the meter registers are designed to last about 10 years, so theyre gradually beginning to fail. Once a battery dies, its no longer able to transmit updated readings to our server, so were forced to estimate the readings based on each homes historical usage. I can confirm were in talks with the community owner on installing a new water meter system, but until thats done we have no choice but to continue estimations. We fully understand your frustration and will resolve the matter as soon as we receive the green light to do so.

Horrible readings! I think they depend on people not understanding the meter reads. Plus the fact that tenents don't get the bill, it's up to our park manager to add it on to our rent. It's illegal to not give tenents the water bill when requested, So pretty soon several of us will be in court with an attorney who took us pro-bono. Trying to talk with ABT is useless.

Thank you for taking the time to post your concern to our Better Business Bureau page. ABT installed utility grade water meters at your community at the request of the owner back in 2020. The meters meet or exceed all AWWA standards. They automatically transmit their usage back to ABT and are updated in our system twice a day. As far as billing issues, I cant speak to that since we dont produce water bills for your community. The community owner uses the usage data we collect to perform their own billing. However, if you or your attorney have any questions or concerns regarding your usage, please feel free to contact ABTs customer service. Our representatives would be happy to go over it in detail.

This company charges for estimate billing. Then when you don't use the estimated amount, they charge you again for the amount of water that you did not use in the first estimate, and this goes on, so you may pay for the same (estimated water 3X). So instead of 1x, you get to pay for your water 3x, what a service.

Thank you for taking the time to post your concern to our Better Business Bureau page. Whenever were not able to get a true read from a water meter at the time we produce a bill, we estimate the meters usage for the month. This is a common practice that is performed by utility billing companies throughout the country. Its something that our billing system does automatically based upon your individual meters historical usage. When the issue is eventually fixed and were able to get true reads again, we compare that latest reading against the amount of the estimate. Estimations are almost never 100% accurate, so we usually end up issuing a credit or debit to the account for the difference on the following months bill. In your particular case, the system estimated your bill higher than your actual usage, so you received a larger water bill during the estimated period. The system then corrected itself and credited you the difference on your most recent water bill. I assure you that youre not being billed for your usage more than once. Please feel free to contact customer service at ******************** if you have any other questions or concerns.

**** to **** in July ******* for **** gallons **** to **** in August ******* for **** gallons I have not even used the **** gallons yet. I saw no credit {$} amount on my bill for this period. The multiplier had a (- sign); but there was no minus sign carried to any of the dollar amounts. I have called the number several times and got no satisfactory answer. This is simple math; I would advise others on this type of billing to keep watching their bills.

Your company was contracted by the mobile home court where I live. I received the first bill in the mail on 2/14/23 with a due date of 2/20/23. If not paid by 2/20/23, you will be charged a $15 fee and allow 5 or 10 days for the post office to deliver your payment. Did not even get 5 days to mail the payment.

Thank you for taking the time to post your concern to our Better Business Bureau page. This appears to have been an issue for several residents in your community. We discussed it with the community owner who gave us the go ahead to waive the late fees for all residents this cycle. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention.
