      I hired speedymen movers to move belongings from home to an apartment on 11 July. The Block of time that I secured for $200 was from *********. The $200 transaction was paid to secure the date and time.. 2 movers showed up completely stoned and under the influence of something. They could not comprehend simple questions and even asked who was moving. I asked to see the back of the truck and it was very filthy as well. I felt very unsafe having these men move my belongings or even drive anything. I'd like my 200 back for sending stoned movers to my residence or maybe I should have the pice test those workers for drugs..

      In August I purchased moving services from this company and while moving they broke my TV and dresser. I reached out to the company and they sent me a claim form far below the amount of my items. I completed the form and to date I have never received any funds. I called several times and they either leave me on hold or hang up on me or give me a fake date to call. This is what they sent me Dear Mrs. ************* reviewing your claim and our company claims department came up with a project settlement amount. Claim settlement offer is $200.00. Please sign and email us back to issue check and/or credit card refund. Once you accept this settlement, please send an email back to ***************************** stating you have accepted our offer for settling your claim. _________________________________________________________________________Our contract states that all damage items must be listed, and if items are damaged it is .60 cent per pound for each item. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you, we would like to extend a hand of good faith and offering you this settlement.Settlement: TV $80.00 Dresser drawers $120.00 Total Cash Payout = $200.00 Here is the number I have called **************.       We hired Speedy Men to move our home. We used them to unload three large storage pods in our driveway and move the contents into our home. On that same day they also moved a large standing freezer and other furniture items from an apartment we were renting and haul them to our new home. After the crew finished and left for the day, we noticed a large dent in the door of our brand new upright freezer that they had moved along with other various nicks and dents in the freezer. We immediately called their office at which time we were given an email address at which we were to file a damage claim. After several weeks we got a response that Speedy Men would cover $120 in damages to our $1200 freezer which was less than a year old. After looking up repair costs, it was determined repair costs were no less than $480. After informing Speedy Men with our disagreement with their amount of damage money, we have received no response. Several months and repeated attempts to contact them have received no reply. After a while we ended up feeling defeated and signed the damage form for the $120 so that we would at least some compensation. We were told once we signed this form we would receive the $120 compensation. After several weeks and several more attempts to contact them we have received no response no any damage compensation. If Speedy Men were a reputable company they would have made sure our damages were corrected or we were compensated for the damages. This company will rush in, throw your belongings around like its trash, no care if they ruin brand new appliances, rush out the door and then send you a bill. Very poor service, very poor communication and total disregard for their customer.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

        We have previously signed the document provided by SpeedyMen in order to receive our damage compensation.  However, even though we have signed the document and emailed it back to the provided email address, we have not received the money that was promised.  We have received no response and have not received any compensation money from them at all.  They claim they will provide us money compensation once we sign and return that aforementioned document, but they have not.  We will resubmit the signed document and see if we get a response.
