    They may be a bit pushy, but if you agree to support them, they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable with the amount you pledge. You are passed off to another department that asks you if you feel you can afford your pledge in case you have second thoughts. If you go to their website you can see what their goals are: National Committee for Volunteer Firefighters is a non-partisan political action committee established under Section 527 of the tax code. Through the support of like-minded concerned citizens we have pledged to push and fight government for stronger legislation and elections of candidates that support our Volunteer Firefighters.

    This organization commits FRAUD. I was contacted by this organizations call center today.The representative opened the conversation by stating "I'm with the National Committee for Volunteer Firefighters. We insure your local volunteer firefighters have the equipment and resources they need. Can we count on you for a donation today?".ONLY after I asked how much of the money given is used to support the needs of firemen did he explain that "we have to account for all of our cost, processing fee's, employees' salaries etc. and everything left over is donated." AT NO POINT DID HE STATE THIS IS A POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE. This practice needs to be exposed and these individuals prosecuted for the fraud they are commiting.

    Terry you need to stop calling. I've asked them to stop calling. Blocked number many time. I believe in helping our first responders but, this harassment has made me not support. SHAME ON YOU TERRY.

    I have asked no less than a half dozen times to be removed from their call lists. It is very frustrating.

    I have asked them several times not to call. They route numbers through different states/phone numbers. I received one today 9/13/2023 @ 5:40 PM I think there is some law where I can report them and get up to $1500 per unwanted call.

    Violator of FTC DO NOT Call Registry. PAC's collect money for politicians NOT for the firefighters!

    I always receive computer calls from this "PAC," or others like it (police, first responders, etc.) I always pledge to support it at the top suggested level, and I insist on using mail, and then I give them a fake name and the address of my local police station (when I have the time to play with this). That way, they waste the postage, at least. Usually, a few weeks later, I get another computer generated call demanding card payment. Sure, ***!

    I get this call once a day. I block the number, and yet they continue to call from different numbers. I told them to stop scamming people yesterday. They called again today. I told them I was not interested in their scam.

    They are very pushy and insist on a credit card. I want them to stop calling me!! This is harassment and should be against the law. Stop calling me! They prey on the elderly and claim to support firefighters and EMT's. Stop calling me! Remove me from your calling list! Stop calling me!
