This place allows vendors to sell animals in unclean conditions, without water and proper food, in the blasting heat with no shade etc. The animals are in cramped conditions with many animals clearly suffering some kind of sickness or stress, next to very loud music and within reach of hundreds of people poking and prodding them all day long. One outdoor vendor had chickens 10-12 of them crammed into a medium size dog kennel with unclean (or no) water and no food, in the sun on a humid 85 degree day. This vendor had 2 or 3 kennels filled with sickly looking chickens. They also had Bunnies in cages the size of small animal traps, with NO water or food, in the sun and heat and selling them for $40 a bunny. There was another outdoor vendor who sold chicken in almost the same conditions as the ones mentioned above but this woman was also selling rabbits- she had very sick looking rabbits, with little to no water in their unclean dishes and BREAD in the too small cages for food- not rabbit food. Bread. There was one rabbit that was in the sun, was foaming at the mouth, shaking violently, and had an oozing sore on it's head that was clearly going to die. When I told her about this rabbit she grabbed the cage and looked at me like she had no idea what was going on. THAT WAS JUST OUTSIDE. Inside was even worse. Some man was selling very sick looking parrots for $4,000 per bird- No water, No food, in dog kennels, next to blasting music with anyone and their brother able to shove their hands into the bird's space, he was selling pit bull mix puppies as well- no water for them either. Some lady had Guinea Pigs in horrid conditions and packed into small cages. There were 2 or 3 other puppy mill type vendors who had sick looking dogs that had no water, food, and were just peeing all over where they were sleeping. Not sure how the BBB has accredited this business- it is not a true flea market and has some pretty shady things going on.
