Date of transaction 8-10-22. James Gorman sealcoated our blacktop driveway. He made many verbal promises about the quality and durability of his product. He gave us a 3 year written warranty. We paid him $400 to get a double thick coating. He said we didn't need to seal the cracks ahead of the sealcoating because his product was so good. He said we could call him anytime to come back and do an additional coat. He promised to come back within a week to see if we had any concerns. He put pressure on us to pay cash. The coating he put on was very thin and did not fill the cracks. Within 12 hours of his coating the ants had broken through and started hauling up sand piles. I have called him repeatedly to come back, he refuses. He says he's very busy and now is not a good time to come. He said thar he could come next spring. On one call he said he would come at the end of october and refund us $100. I said i wanted $200. He did a neighbors driveway, and filled the cracks in her driveway and charged her $200. I have since spent 3 hours filling the cracks in my driveway. James has refused to honor his written 3 year warranty, instead he blame our driveway for being in poor quality. He is always argumentative and says he is out of state. He even said on my last call, "Its just $400, what are you going to do to me?"
