Lamperts calculated lumber and supplies off my blue prints, but gave me more hangers and rafters than needed. Refused to give a lettuce on each until I agreed to pay and use them. I did. But then refused to take back all the hangers that were not needed or the rafters. The rafters were pre gut so I accepted that. They took back some of the hangers but not all of them, with a total of six remaining. I want the ****** returned

    To Whom it may concern,
    Regarding complaint #********
In response to Mr. ******* complaint,it is my position that the correct number of hangers and I-joists were supplied for his project as required by the blueprints he supplied for estimation. These I-joists and hangers are non-stock and Mr. ******* was made aware the materials were non-stock and had to be special ordered. The plans provided required hangers on each end and a set number of joists that make the project meet Wisconsin Building code. It is my opinion Mr. ******* altered his intended project leaving him with extra material. Lamperts did issue credit for some of the material returned. I am sorry Mr. ******* feels he should get more credit, and I would be happy to review the intended project compared to the completed project and if he would like we could include the local Wisconsin Licensed Building Inspector. Mr. ******* was on site when credit was issued by the staff and had no complaints at that time.
He is welcome to call me to set a time to discuss at the Lamperts Chetek location. My contact information is included below.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

    Customer Answer

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The plans say 24 oc, but regardless the respondent is merely repeating what the sales person said and I left two messages at the respondent HQ with no return call.  These are Not special order and should be returned as requested.   It's apparent they do not care about customer service.

    Regards,

    Business Response

Mr. ******* comment in the last sentence of his response leads me to believe that there is no resolution to his complaint other than to accept his request for a refund. I am sorry but this is not acceptable. The salesperson supplied the products needed for the project and the customer chose not to use them. While I understand the customers complaint, that does not negate the fact that special order materials are not returnable. I am not sure where he received his information but I assure him the materials are not stock and are special order. If he would like to stop in and take a look at the warehouse to see for himself he is welcome Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm.  In regards to the persons claims of leaving two messages, in my previous response he was supplied a cell phone number to call me directly. I am not sure where HQ is or why he called any other number than he was directed to? My cell number is ************ again.

    Sincerely,

    ******* *****
