    After moving into my home in August 2023, I had a tree company come to remove several large trees from my yard. While they were driving their truck in the front of my house they hit my front stoop causing the step to break. They went to Valley Unit Step to obtain a quote for the cost to repair the step. Since I couldn't just fix one step (would not match the front stoop) I had a brand new front stoop scheduled to be installed. I was never informed when they were going to install it until they showed up on my property about 3 weeks later and just left without ever speaking to me. I sent in payment in full. Two months later I noticed a crack that extended from one end of the stoop to the other along a seam that was filled with cement by them. I called to ask if someone could come out and never got a return call. About 3 weeks later when I was taking my dog out there was someone looking at the stoop but by the time I got my dog back inside and went back out he was gone. Another 3 weeks passed with no word from them so I called and left a message. No return call so I called again and spoke with the owner. He knows what I was talking about and said that it is not something they would fix, yet never returned my call to tell me this even when he was here looking at it he never knocked on my door to talk to me. It is now going on another 4 weeks, after being told he would come back out and talk to me, and nothing. The cement poured that is now cracking and crumbling on the side was installed by them but they are seemingly refusing to fix it or make it right for me the customer. I was also given two conflicting amounts that were substantially different and can't prove who is right or wrong now.

    I do understand the customer's initial concern, and the area of concerned will be taken care of, but I would like an extra few days to explain the pictures submitted.

    I did not receive this letter in my rural mailbox until Saturday and have been pulling the info together, when I can since then but would like to provide a full answer than I can have emailed in by Monday.

    Again, the concerned areas of the install will be taken care of because our customer is asking. However, this is not the common. My pictures and explanation will show this when you receive it on Monday.
