    On 9/17/2024 we contracted with *** to install wall and floor tile in our newly constructed bathroom. The project also included installing a heated flooring mat, floor pan, waterproof panels, anti crack membrane etc. Our problem is with the tile installation. We supplied 12x24 porcelain tiles and ***** installation of them is well below standards for tile. The heights are uneven and vary sufficiently between the tiles. Some of the tiles corners are higher causing you to stub your toe on them. I called *** and explained my displeasure and why and he told me there was nothing he could do. We paid him in accordance with his terms 50% down and 50% upon completion. The project amounted to $8559.60 of which $5,950.00 was for his labor. I feel he owes us a credit on the labor. He was very unwilling to even come and look at what I was complaining about and discuss trying to rectify the problem.
