Very bad experience. You pay so far in advance that if you have trouble with ETA visa you have no choice but to cancel and lose twenty five percent of the cost. They are very cheerful when you are paying them. When you want your money back and cancel the cheerful happy is gone and they are very little help because they get paid anyway and you have your problems and they don't give much advice or care about you at all. It was a life long dream and I lost over $4000.00 and just gave up on Holiday Vacations. They refunded seventy five percent of the cost and I moved on with a serious regret for getting involved with the travel company in the first place. I got taught an expensive life lesson.

The trip to Australia was very disappointing. We went October 2023 with Holiday Vacations to Australia and it was a waste of our time and money that we can never get back. They did two city tours of Sydney that was not needed. We sat at a restaurant for 2 1/2 hours everyone just sitting around wasting time. Went to the Australia Zoo got there late in the day missed all the animal shows. It is 110 acres that you need more than 3 hours to see the zoo and shows. Tour of Mary Cairncross was a joke. The local guide knew nothing when asked questions. This tour did a lot of things that were hokey that saved them money but wasted my money and time. Wish we would have gone with a different tour company if I only knew how it was . I wrote a letter to the CEO and Holiday Vacations and have never heard back. I guess customer service means nothing to them once they get their money
