I would give the company 0 stars. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous. I called about a warranty on May 15th and sent pictures and told them the story of how it happened. I used the rod once for spring crappie fishing and gave it a jerk to get off a Lilly pad and the rod snapped in half. That’s when I knew the products are poorly made. I was told they will send me a new rod that’s upgraded since they don’t make mine anymore. I will not need to send the old one back and it will cost me $45 and I will have it by the first to second week in June. It is July 14th I have no rod and I am out $45. Save yourself lots of money and lots of headaches and never purchase anything with their name on it.

Absolute pathetic customer service. I sent in a warranty claim on a rod that broke in April of 2024. I got an email saying in 5-10 business days i would get a response on the claim. Its now almost November and havent heard anything from st. Croix. Ive left multiple messages and emails with zero response. So I guess im just ignored at this point. Cant believe this company gets away with ignoring their products warranty with so many people!

Is there a zero stars rating? purchased a new $200 rod and first time using it, it snapped. Five pound bass, first 30 minutes of fishing, first fish on the rod. Filed a warranty claim in June 2023 and received confirmation. Was promised follow up in 10 days, and nothing. Then promised follow up in seven days and nothing. It has now been two months later, seven unreturned calls to the customer service line and not a single live person. I have not idea of whether they intend on honoring their promised guarantee, the fishing season is a loss. DO NOT PURCHASE A ST CROIX ROD! I wish I would have read all of the awful reviews before purchasing. Someone needs to start a class action..........
