    I bought a chair in April 2021 and its not even 5 years and the material is coming apart. I paid around 200 and this is what I got I need this resolved.

    This warranty claim is being made on product that was sold to a customer when the company was owned by *******. This company is now owned by RESPAWN LLC. This complaint should be made to the company ******* as this was their customer. Additionally, the warranty policy of RESPAWN LLC states that the warranty claim made on this product is outside of the honored time period. Prompt and quick response was provided to the ******* customer as it was received.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    [Even though they bought the company they still take ownership of it. A chair should last longer than 3 years there and the way the material came undone is unacceptable as much as I paid for this chair it is unacceptable. This needs to be resolved better by the company and the company should stand by their products.]

    I purchased a computer chair from Respawn via their website on 2021-02-05. The chair recently had a weld fail at the end of one of the arms on the chair base. Based on their warranty statement, this would qualify for a replacement to my understanding.Upon contacting the business regarding a warranty replacement for the defective part, the customer service department proceeded to tell me that the 5 year warranty on their site was actually an "expected lifespan" of the product, and that the actual warranty was two years.The language on their site states:"Except as otherwise provided herein, ******** (RESPAWN) warrants that the RESPAWN products covered by this Warranty shall be free from defects in original material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years starting from the date of purchase of the RESPAWN product from RESPAWNS website so long as the original purchaser owns them."They were unable to specify how my request would not be covered under this warranty statement, and at this point appear to be refusing to assist further by no longer responding to my request.I provided this language multiple times and requested a clear reason why they were refusing my request and received only apologies and assurances that the product was out of warranty.

    I contacted this company regarding their 5 year warranty on a chair. They had me send multiple pictures several times to verify my identity and the product issue. After multiple times they finally responded and lied about their warranty and said it was 2 years which so conveniently fits just outside the window of when I bought the chair. The warranty is listed on this page **************************************************************************************************************************** . They are not honoring their warranty.
