On July 22-23, 2021, Ruck's Tree Service started a job cutting down 22 pine trees, grinding stumps, and trimming a Locust. Due to power lines running thru 2 of the pines, they were unable to complete the job at that time. I was told that they'd come once the power lines were down to take down those 2 pines, finish grinding stumps, and trim the locust. The power company removed the lines on December 15, 2021. As it was winter, we notified Ruck's that the lines were now done and that they could resume the job once winter was over. Beginning on May 16, 2022, I began texting Ruck's to inquire when they'd be able to finish this job. On May 18, 2022 I received the reply "I'll stop and take a look." That never happened. I was then told the afternoon of May 20, 2022. That also never happened. On May 24, 2022 I inquired again asking if I could expect him tomorrow and he replied with "Yes I have you down." On May 31, 2022 I again inquired as to when this job would be finished. On June 28, 2022 I inquired again and received no response. On July 8, 2022 I sent a text reminding him that it has been almost a year since the job was started and that I would like it finished promptly. I offered to speak by phone or in person to resolve this. I also noted that I was to the point where I'd start leaving negative reviews. On July 11, 2022 he replied "Will get it done very soon." On July 18, 2022 I inquired again but received no reply. On July 19, 2022 I asked "Can I please get a date when you will finish this job?" He replied, "I'll plan on Monday (July 25), depending on the rain this weekend." On July 25, 2022 he texted "As today won't work due to all the rain. I won't forget about you." He also stated "We are in the fair all week let's shoot for the following." August 3, 2022 I texted "Will you be finishing the job this week?" His reply "Not looking like it." On August 4, 2022 I asked for him to define "soon" as he stated on July 10, 2022. No reply. Over a year later and nada.
