    I enrolled with the college for nursing in 2023. I had to wait to begin the program in fall of 2024. My account was paid up to date to that point. I also was an out-of-pocket student (no FAFSA) by choice. The first issue was that their online new student orientation program in fall of 2023 that I partook in had discriminatory verbiage stating admit it, Republicans have ruined politics. I reported this to them, and they responded with no apology but did fix the orientation. This was very frustrating. Later in Summer 2024, when enrolling and attending orientation in-person, it was apparent that additional costs for the nursing program that were not disclosed originally were needed for a nursing skills kit and an online platform called Evolve, together which totaled over $500.00. This concern was brought to them by me later when I discontinued the program in the second week. I am out-of-pocket and only have enough budgeted for the estimated costs by credit they had published. After I became aware of these costs, I again was frustrated to see that I was unable to pay for the fall semester tuition because their payment portal was not working. I tried multiple times, and reported it to them as well. This was in Summer 2024. They still have not fixed this issue. When I withdrew from the college due to the many issues encountered with them, I asked for an appeal to remove the tuition balance for fall 2024 because I did not continue the program due to feelings of discrimination and unethical finance practices by them. They denied it, and have now assessed a $40 late fee on top of it. To this day I still cannot pay the balance and live over a half hour away. The actions and behavior of this school have been utterly revolting. Therefore Im filing this to not only warn others to be cautious, but also to get the late fee removed. I also want to dispute the tuition balance, as the situations that led up to my withdrawal were valid. I have not yet paid the balance.($485.99+$40)
