      ******************************* the presumed "owner" of Vanderbilt Tree Service did a tree service job at my home. He wrote a quote under the company name ************** He provided a false insurance document stating he had insurance for the company ************** In no quote, nor after project statement did he work under the name Vanderbilt Tree Service. In addition, there are three "Vanderbilt Tree Service" websites. ******************************* harassed me for money following the tree job, even though we made a plan to pay him with insurance settlement money we were waiting for. He came to my front door demanding money because he was behind on his personal payments. ****** threatened me via text messages, saying that he was going to "escalate the situation like I have never seen before." He was aggressive and threatening in person, stepping up to me during conversations in which I had to go into my home and lock the doors so he wouldn't enter. ******************************* has went to prison for fraud in the past and he only takes cash for his work and does not work under the company name he says he operates under.

      We hired Vanderbilt Tree Service to remove a large tree in our backyard. We paid a deposit of $1445 with the balance due upon removal. They have never shown up to do the work, after repeatedly stating they would be here on certain days; this has now gone on for over 2 weeks. We have tried to reach the owner multiple times to find out his plan and they have been unresponsive. The owner *************************, has lied over and over and now is not returning texts or phone calls. Upon further investigation, it also looks like there is 3 Vanderbilt Tree service website links used all taking you to a false website. His contract also listed ARC Lawn/Tree as the company instead of Vanderbilt Tree Service and when questioned just stated "it's the same." We also found reviews of other customers having similar experiences along with doing unprofessional work with houses getting damaged. We have sent a letter terminating the contract and asking for our deposit to be returned.

      In January 2022 I contacted Vanderbilt Tree website for a quote to remove trees from my yard. ****** reviews are highly rated, after getting another quote chose them as they were a local company, however ARC Lawn sent a proposal with insurance document and showed up to do the work. They damaged my property, knocked down the electrical service line, damaged my roof requiring emergency service from MG&E and ************** After months of lies and no response I contacted the insurance they included a copy with their quote to find out they had no insurance and now refuse to pay the electrical company. Deliberate lies to string out till it was beyond the lien limit
